No news this weekend folks, enjoy your weekend!

Rabby hit the lotto when Woodson was fired last month and sold his “Insider” content for a low monthly discount special. He knows nothing more than anyone on this board. If you want the closes media reporter to Scott, it’s Ostermann.
-
Former Utah guy, it was happening no matter who called Utah.

Coach searches are typically fun, we’ve had a lot of fun on here in the past after Archie was fired. Problem is this time around Woodson was fired with a month left in the season so naming a new head coach wasn’t going to happen for a while, nor will we find out for a while still. Patience is key. Dolson didn’t fire Woodson to hire an assistant, or a former Indiana star (Alford), and likely not for an up and coming coach (Ben). Dolson made his move at a time where he felt he was confident in proceeding with a search. I firmly believe Dolson has his guy and now its just a matter if when the season concludes for the team.
-
Folks, Nothing will be announced or rumored until after the season concludes next Sunday or NCAA FIRST FOUR/FIRST ROUND. Our insiders have gone silently which is significant as they were told to silence up. Dolson has his guy, just be patient.

Celtics are playing tonight?

I just don’t buy the Drew talk. Yes, Big Ten money is different, but Baylor has great NIL and is a basketball school. He’s lived in Waco since 2003, has a brand new arena to play in as well. He hasn’t accepted any other job but would listen to Indiana because he grew up there? I don’t buy it. Yes you can argue the Stevens talk is similar, however, Stevens isn’t a coach currently. Coaches don’t just quit coaching, he’ll be a coach again somewhere. He has the itch to coach again.

Has anyone listed various reasons as to why Drew would consider Indiana? We had this discussion after Tom Crean and Archie and now we’re back to Drew as a candidate. I understand he’s from Indiana, yes. But he’s been in Waco since 2003. Yes you read that correctly, 2003. Champions in 2020, he has things rolling over in the Big 12.

- lots of information running around, aka, lots of brad talks. - brad talks pick up major steam on Valentine’s Day or near it - Goodman gets a “quote” from brad - radio silence Makes you wonder.. i hope.

It’s very quiet when I’m asking around the CBB world. Everyone wants to speculate the big names, but no one knows. Indiana and Utah are the biggest openings right now. Im confident Brad Stevens is still in play. Dusty is off the table.

Oooof. From what I’ve heard. TJ wants to stay at Iowa State. I highly doubt Drew has any interest in the Indiana job. Taking a risk on McCollum would be a choice, not a popular one. I don’t imagine the boosters would be happy with that. Could throw in the Clemson coach as well despite recent uptick in his career. Greg would be interesting. They have NIL and money over there at Creighton. Does he want to be in the Big Ten at Indiana? His name gets thrown around for every big opening but he has stayed put.

I think he's already packed up his home in Bloomington. He's ready for the Florida sunshine!

Let's go ahead and Ban IssacTor. We're not getting news for another week in a half - two in a half weeks.
-
Crean was better. Woodson has gotten blown out in the tournament.
-
Cody is officially retired. Look for him to get into coaching next season at the college level, keep an eye on a school in Bloomington.
-
He knows nothing.
-
An offer was made.

Until someone not named Brad Stevens is named the head coach at a press conference, then there will always be a chance with Brad Stevens. At this point last time Stevens went on talk radio in Boston and said he was flattered but wasn't interested. We have zero confirmation that Brad is not interested in Indiana. The Goodman quote was poor. He got Stevens to say he's happy being a Celtic, duh.
-
March 25th.
-
Brad is still traveling and evaluating, just on a much different level and a little more private compared to AAU events. He’s going to the Big Ten tourney, thanksgiving classics, etc,. Brad will be fine heading back on the recruiting trail, especially if NCAA starts approving 5-6 coaches on the road at once.
-
We won’t know anything for another 2-3 weeks.
-
Perhaps it’s done, yes.
-
There’s no way Steven’s would accept the job with Indiana still having two weeks left with regular season and conference tournament play. He has to much respect for NBA lifers, coaches, and for the Celtics organization to do so. If Brad accepted the job a week ago and it’s made public, this does nothing but distract the current team/coaches at Indiana.

It's pretty similar which is quite funny. But our division ranks this current year are disgusting. It's pretty shameful to be this bad across the board with this much talent.
