  1. Missed the tournament, lost 3 to NBA, and no high profile recruits result in low expectations as far as others around the country are concerned. Not to mention a new coach, which we know in reality is an upgrade but to the general eye is viewed as a big change to overcome.
  2. That's assuming their cousin/sister/wife has wifi
  3. It keeps me away at times. Colts have one of the most idiotic fanbases in all of sports. Colts Facebook page and Holder's Facebook page is full of pure stupidity at it's finest.
  4. That Morris article makes me not even want to visit the site until it's off the front page. Did they really think he wasn't getting cut??? And yeah everyone was crying about Dorsett (myself included), but now that he's traded Ballard is some kind of idiot because we should have gotten more in return??? That site has so many idiots on it.
  5. Nate to the Eagles practice squad. Had the offer to go to Washington's too but decided he had a better chance in Philly.
  6. Injuries may get him a shot at some point out there
  7. Exactly. You'd have thought I would have said he was the worst player on the team based on the reactions. Apparently you can't criticize our starting QB that's had nearly as many INT's as TD's during his time here without his family/close friends having a hissy fit. Doesn't bother me. I will continue to point out his turnover problems if they continue because it's obviously a big issue.
  8. It's evident you have some attachment to the kid so we might as well end this. Continue to make excuses for him and I will continue to criticize the mistakes and we'll each continue to think the other is wrong. That's just how it's going to be.
  9. Who eliminated that? I've said as much multiple times in this thread, not my fault reading and comprehension is hard for you. I'll say it once more, nobody is saying Lagow costed us this game. He had some beautiful throws, mostly in the first half. But again, the same problem as all of last year arose and that was that when he receives pressure he gets out of control with the ball and turns it over and you just can't do it at the rate he does. Again, we saw it all last year against all different levels of opponents (Wake Forest game) so this is not a blind one game statement. I hope he fixes it but I've given up hope on that at this point. You're free to disagree but the only foolishness around here is that Lagow can't be criticized without his boyfriends popping up to defend his honor.
  10. That's exactly what I kept pleading for the entire game. Throw it away and live another play. You can't blame Lagow for getting pressured, our line was getting demolished. But you can blame him for how he handled that pressure...the same way he always has, but making dumb throws, taking big sacks, and fumbling it away.
  11. I could say the exact same thing to you. I agree that we're still a 6-8 win team. All we're saying is he looks the same as last year. If you can't accept a little criticism that's on you. This guy's not on any NFL radars so let's not act like he's Aaron Rodgers over here. He is what he is.
  12. So some NFL players on their roster makes them an NFL team? I guess there's a lot of NFL teams in college then right? We must be considered an NFL team too since we have several players who will likely be playing on Sundays eventually. And unfortunately you can't just choose what stats you like. He had 3 turnovers and he's lucky it wasn't 2 or 3 more. That's the facts. He has never been able to take care of the ball and that didn't change Thursday. Facts.
  13. I expect him to play smarter. To not force the issue so much and turn the ball over multiple times each game. It's pretty simple really. Ball security is huge and he has never been able to grasp that. If you are trying to tell me he doesn't have issues in that area there's no point in this conversation even going any further.
  14. Rough night for FSU. Bama looks real good again. Shocker.
  15. Purdue with the same problem as us. You've gotta take better care of the ball. So many missed opportunities due to INT's.
  16. This game feels painfully familiar
  17. Hey! How'd Lagow slip into that Purdue jersey?
  18. It's not one game. We saw him all last year against all levels of competition. Nobody is blaming the game on him. All people are saying is that based on that game he looks like the same Lagow as he did last season. And that's not a good thing (although not at all surprising to me). Also, calling Ohio St. an NFL team is laughable.
  19. We know he can set picks and stretch the floor. My guess is his obvious athletic limitations will keep him from ever seeing much time barring a barrage of injuries. He would get picked on defensively and probably not help much on the boards. He might be an interesting play alongside De'Ron though in limited minutes.
  20. Duke it is https://twitter.com/jeffborzello/status/903773948990644225
  21. Completely agree. It's what I was worried about all offseason. The tools to be a good QB are irrelevant if you don't have it between the ears.
  22. This may not be a popular opinion, but I thought Lagow looked just like last year. He'll make some beautiful throws which is where those annoying NFL comparisons keep coming from (come on people really??), and don't get me wrong I love seeing that. But even after that hot start I kept telling my friend let's just see how he finishes this game. Sure enough, the Lagow we all saw last year showed back up. He stares down one receiver, never goes through his progressions, is absolutely a loose cannon in the pocket with no ball security, forces the most absurd throws that even high schooler's know better than to make, and even though this isn't on him can we please stop calling running plays for him?? I will be the first to admit he had a lot of pressure on many plays due to the o-line, but this guy's gotta know how to just get rid of the ball and live to another play and he just hasn't ever figured that out and at this point I'm giving up hope he does. As Tim said I wouldn't blame this game on him, but he is going to continue to kill us in big games with his lack of ball security. He had 3 TO's but it should have been 4 and maybe even 5 depending on if you think that shove to Simmie was a fumble or not.
  23. It looked like Mack was the 4th WR with Westbrook out.
  24. Should work for me
