  1. Hopefully he doesn't let the inevitable chemistry issues on that team get him down
  2. Last year there were no clear "elite" teams. This year I would say there are several. Duke and pUKe have elite classes and pUKe has a couple returning talents as well. Gonzaga, Kansas and Nevada are also stacked.
  3. I'm sure with his age and ability to stretch the floor he'll get a look from someone, maybe on a 2 way deal.
  4. I'm still surprised he's not trying the football route
  5. Averaged a double double as a freshman. But like you said, the NBA has no place for a big center with heavy feet and no outside shot. He could go overseas and be a monster though. Good money and be treated like a king. He'll be fine.
  6. Seems like they're a little late to the party here
  7. Smart decision because he isn't getting drafted this year
  8. I plan on going to my first Bucket game as well with a bunch of buddies. Going to have our own crazy student section.
  9. I'm guessing his height is what's keeping the big boys away
  10. It's the Detroit Mercy lol
  11. ^this. I don't think games are decided before they even start, but without a doubt the officials have an agenda they follow and it usually benefits the larger market teams or occasionally teams with superstar players. I think this is pretty undebatable.
  12. This Bryan Colangelo breaking stuff is insane. NBA Finals can be put on the backburner. Just give me an ESPN 30 for 30 covering this story and I'm good.
  13. Having Romeo around will be huge for Juwan. Teams will no longer be able to double Juwan and have him as the center of their gameplan. In a way I guess it works for each player. If they pay too much attention to Romeo Juwan will just do what he did last year. This will be quite the 1-2 combo and like others have mentioned if we can get a consistent 3rd scorer (Green?) this team is going to do big things.
  14. Him going to Houston to create another superteam is a possibility
  15. Lol Boston choked so hard and LeBron is unbelievable. They better hope Houston pulls it out tomorrow though.
  16. I think the Lakers end up with PG and maybe Boogie. I don't anticipate that being anything other than a giant disaster.
  17. As you can imagine with myself being a Pacers fan I hope he goes West lol
  18. I mean the Thunder were a blown 3-1 lead from being in the Finals for a 2nd straight year, he was in a solid position
  19. No doubt he's exhausted but I still fully expect him to take over at some point.
  20. Didn't say he can't work for his rings. He has done a tremendous job with very little help this year. Also that first big run he had was a pretty bad team for championship standards. But just like that summer he will leave again this summer. I'm old fashioned and like to see guys stick with franchises, especially when they're close to winning it all. But guys these days just want the easy way out which means teaming up.
  21. It's funny to hear any sports debate involving LeBron because the pro-LeBron side typically acts as if he's a God and is incapable of doing anything wrong. As if you criticizing him is beyond their comprehension.
  22. Really?? You just completely leave out teaming up with Wade and Bosh. Both left their title contending teams to join up with superstar filled teams to breeze through. It's a very easy comparison. The PG situation is no different except for the fact that instead of leaving in FA he demanded a trade. All 3 situations are guys unwilling to work for their rings and wanting to create superteams because they couldn't do it the previous year. It's lame and in many fans' eyes (mine included) it hurts their legacy.
  23. ^this. He went to the Finals in OKC and the year before he left OKC had GS down 3-1 in the WCF only to choke it away. This wasn't just about winning. It was about doing it the easy/cheap way. That guy is soft as a pillow. If Houston beats them in game 7 he'll probably try to go there in FA.
  24. Wilson Chandler was also the top recruit from Michigan and chose DePaul. They're still a P5 school. I don't know anything about the direction that program is headed though.
