  1. It's the Detroit Mercy lol
  2. ^this. I don't think games are decided before they even start, but without a doubt the officials have an agenda they follow and it usually benefits the larger market teams or occasionally teams with superstar players. I think this is pretty undebatable.
  3. This Bryan Colangelo breaking stuff is insane. NBA Finals can be put on the backburner. Just give me an ESPN 30 for 30 covering this story and I'm good.
  4. Having Romeo around will be huge for Juwan. Teams will no longer be able to double Juwan and have him as the center of their gameplan. In a way I guess it works for each player. If they pay too much attention to Romeo Juwan will just do what he did last year. This will be quite the 1-2 combo and like others have mentioned if we can get a consistent 3rd scorer (Green?) this team is going to do big things.
  5. Him going to Houston to create another superteam is a possibility
  6. Lol Boston choked so hard and LeBron is unbelievable. They better hope Houston pulls it out tomorrow though.
  7. I think the Lakers end up with PG and maybe Boogie. I don't anticipate that being anything other than a giant disaster.
  8. As you can imagine with myself being a Pacers fan I hope he goes West lol
  9. I mean the Thunder were a blown 3-1 lead from being in the Finals for a 2nd straight year, he was in a solid position
  10. No doubt he's exhausted but I still fully expect him to take over at some point.
  11. Didn't say he can't work for his rings. He has done a tremendous job with very little help this year. Also that first big run he had was a pretty bad team for championship standards. But just like that summer he will leave again this summer. I'm old fashioned and like to see guys stick with franchises, especially when they're close to winning it all. But guys these days just want the easy way out which means teaming up.
  12. It's funny to hear any sports debate involving LeBron because the pro-LeBron side typically acts as if he's a God and is incapable of doing anything wrong. As if you criticizing him is beyond their comprehension.
  13. Really?? You just completely leave out teaming up with Wade and Bosh. Both left their title contending teams to join up with superstar filled teams to breeze through. It's a very easy comparison. The PG situation is no different except for the fact that instead of leaving in FA he demanded a trade. All 3 situations are guys unwilling to work for their rings and wanting to create superteams because they couldn't do it the previous year. It's lame and in many fans' eyes (mine included) it hurts their legacy.
  14. ^this. He went to the Finals in OKC and the year before he left OKC had GS down 3-1 in the WCF only to choke it away. This wasn't just about winning. It was about doing it the easy/cheap way. That guy is soft as a pillow. If Houston beats them in game 7 he'll probably try to go there in FA.
  15. Wilson Chandler was also the top recruit from Michigan and chose DePaul. They're still a P5 school. I don't know anything about the direction that program is headed though.
  16. Respect. Kid wants to write his own story. Said he was impressed because DePaul's coach told him what to improve on instead of hammering him with how good he was.
  17. Happ but my second choice would be Jordan Murphy
  18. Such a shame. Those guys knew their stuff and their draft breakdowns were awesome. ESPN is trash and I refuse to pay for anything. Looking for other draft sites, haven't found anything yet.
  19. See I knew those two stanzas didn't match up at all lol. No I'm not denying his greatness or talent. He's obviously always been the best player on any of his teams (best player I've ever seen as I came along at the tail end of Michael's career), but I hate when people act like he won his rings all on his own. He's had plenty of help. Now this year and his first ring are two of the seasons where you could make an argument he's really carried a team on his back.
  20. That is just plain wrong. Those Miami teams had him, DWade, and Bosh. That's 2 1/2 superstars. He had Kyrie with him in his second stint in the Land. He's had plenty of help. And let's not even get started on the help he gets from the zebras (not taking away from the great player he is, but let's not deny the obvious either).
  21. Was going to make the Beilfeldt comparison myself, thank you for doing it for me. This kid has played on several good St. Mary's teams, been stuck on the bench behind some very good bigs. I don't think anyone's expecting huge numbers, but if he can just come in and stretch the floor, grab some boards, and provide this team with leadership that would be worth the scholly.
  22. LeBron is the best in the world and Toronto once again lives up to the "Craptors" nickname.
  23. After celebrating and not being able to get on here for a few minutes, I finally made it. So now I just have to say one thing......LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOO, HOO, HOO.....HOOSIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Indy's gotta snag this kid. His scouting report mentioned off the field concerns??? That's news to me. Anyone have any insight to this?
  25. His size is likely what hurts the most. He got called for a lot of tacky (in my completely biased opinion lol) PI calls against him in college, if he could get away with that more in the NFL that would help.
