  1. Great to see this thread, man what a good night
  2. And he's exactly right. Not only for what he said, but also because it wears these kids' bodies down by the time they get to college, not to mention if they make it to the NBA. AAU is a terrible thing.
  3. This one hurts the most tbh. Man this sucks. Best of luck to him of course but this is a tough break for us.
  4. Wow, Northwestern punched in the mouth by Illinois
  5. Most Pacers fans think Myles has star potential in the future, so if you could net a top pick in this years draft to team with him, as well as Teague, Young, whoever else you acquire in that trade, our own pick, and the money we would then have available going forward. I think that would thrill most Pacers fans.
  6. We still would have the talent (assuming we get the pick next year) to be competing right away. I'm saying you don't have to tear everything down and start from square one.
  7. I would imagine that's the thinking behind it
  8. You probably guaranteed you keep your pick, but I'd be disappointed I didn't get more than a late 1st for the 6th man of the year favorite.
  9. Anyone who makes the Kawhi complaint automatically has zero credibility in my eyes
  10. Yes I agree have to have Crowder in there with Bradley and the pick
  11. I think with Ball it's the "Curry" hype. Great shooter, ball handler, and passer. I do agree the lack of athleticism could be problematic. I don't get to see as much of those West Coast guys (Ball/Fultz), but I do agree Jackson is going to be a stud.
  12. Why does it have to be rebuilding? Why can't it just be reloading? Trading PG may result in a pick but it's also likely going to result in other immediate talent, such as a trade with the Celtics that could include Bradley/Crowder. We can make this trade and still compete right away. Don't have to strip it all down and start again from square one.
  13. I disagree with Bradley being a role player, I think he's a very solid starter. 18 and 7 with top notch defense, there's a reason they haven't traded him the past few years even with a ton of interest. If Boston offered Brooklyn's pick (which is essentially guaranteed to be top 2), Bradley, and Crowder for PG I'd do that in a second without hesitation. You get 2 starters on very reasonable contracts locked in for two and three more years respectively as well as either Fultz/Ball (unless you like Josh Jackson more) who both have superstar projections.
  14. You didn't specify championship contenders, I assumed you just meant playoffs.
  15. Back in the day a group of my friends used to play at the local Y together and one of the dad's was our coach. I kid you not the man would be drenched in sweat before our game even started. We're talking about a YMCA league. It was quite a scene.
  16. Oh Dallas is still very much in playoff contention
  17. Rough ending but wasn't Yogi's fault. Mavs better quit wasting their time with DWill and just stick with Yogi.
  18. Enjoy the vacation OF!! You've earned it!
  19. He says after dropping a double double
  20. Good, those types of people are scum. It's pure laziness and disrespect.
  21. My all-time favorite Hoosier. I always root for him and whatever team he's on unless they're playing the Pacers. Then I root for a great individual performance from him but a loss haha!
  22. Yeah he had a stinker tonight
  23. For Gaga that was pretty tame. I was expecting a lot worse. Still surprised they went with her, that's a few years late.
