I hear ya, we missed all the banners and the undefeated team and most importantly missed Coach Knight.

Coverdale, AJ, Fife, Jeffries, Hornsby, I could keep going. So many contributions from that team. And that was it, they played as a TEAM. We had Jeffries as the lone star and then just great balance through the rest of the roster. Those were the days man...

I agree with most of what you said, just want to point out one thing. Some of the most popular Hoosiers in our lifetime (same age as yourself) have been guys not from in-state. Guys like Vic, AJ Moye, and DJ White were all out of state guys who were fan favorites and are probably my favorite 3 Hoosiers ever. Being from Indiana doesn't guarantee they will play like Hoosiers. Some of the best Hoosiers were from other areas.

Being the same age as yourself I also share the same Hoosier memories, starting with that 2002 run to the NC game. I also agree this Hoosier team is missing the heart and determination that past IU teams have had. Extremely frustrating to watch.

I think between Simmie, Westbrook, Timian, J-Shun, and Fuchs coming back as well we're fine with pass catchers. I forget, is Marqui Hawkins still around?

Ok here's what my Vols friend just texted me in response to this: "Yeah I saw that. He seemed to do ok at Tennessee. Just spread offense so if you have a duel threat quarterback it seemed to work best ." Not really sure what this means, as Lagow definitely isn't a dual threat guy. Man I would kill to have a Tre Roberson here right now. What about the redshirt King, isn't he more of a dual threat option? Or Ramsey?

Redding/Patrick/Natee could be a savage trio

Raphael Green is the only loss on defense (although that's a big loss) assuming Fant or Scales don't dip for the NFL. On offense we lose Paige and Jones, but we get back Simmie Cobbs, J-Shun Harris, and Jordan Fuchs from injuries. Feeney is a big blow and Wes Rogers is another starter on the o-line, but I trust Coach Frey to have them ready to go on the line. If we can just figure out QB this team has the potential for at least 8 wins next year.

Your first 2 points covered everything I was going to say. I would add on we need to utilize Patrick more next season, hopefully he'll be healthy and ready to unleash then.
