If Brunk, Smith, and TJD are all starting next year then Indiana will be mediocre again. We need a perimeter threat at the 3 to pressure defenses. I'm very happy with Brunk, but Smith and TJD are better and more versatile. I hope Brunk has a great year next year, but I hope IU is too good to have him start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hopefully Rob can lock in on defense against Winston. He seemed to struggle with Mack's speed in the first half and got burned a couple times. Winston is a different type of player, but we're going to need the guards to slow him down. A healthy Rob can really bother him, but who knows how healthy he is right now. I'd like to see Brunk's starts be matchup dependent. We need him when other teams have good bigs, but against smaller lineups I like Justin at the 4. The depth on the front line should allow us to play whichever 2 of the 3 bigs are playing well. That's of course assuming Hunter makes the jump and becomes a good option at the 3 next year. I was overall fine with the rotation today. 10 guys got minutes, but Franklin had 4 and Race had 5. Franklin didn't play the 2nd half. We basically had an 8 man rotation. I was frustrated with the amount of time Davis got down the stretch, but I guess that was because of foul trouble, although I think Archie should have risked it with Brunk or TJD. They were actually about the same level of recruit. Per 247, Devonte was 218 and Al was 230. I know Al plays hard, and the team feeds off his energy at times, but I think Devonte takes too much heat on here for effort. I see the bonehead plays on offense, but I think his defense is generally pretty good. Carton scored on him with a nice scoop in the first half, but I don't remember his man scoring at any other point today.
