  1. I'm glad to hear she has an appreciation for athletics and understands how much visibility it brings to the university. I hope, hope, HOPE that she and our new AD take a very serious look at the licensing and merchandising deals (or lack there of) that we have in comparison to other universities of our size and athletic tradition. You can buy SO MUCH STUFF with UNC, pUKe, and even PUke logos on them. I am so sad when I click on a cool NCAA item on a website and cannot find a version with IU on it. Even with the general merchandise shortcomings, we also have a huge opportunity with our unique IU-only items. The Candy Stripes, the old bison, and especially the "Go Big Red" flag. You CANNOT find the Go Big Red flag for purchase. Not even on in own official stores. (maybe I'm wrong, if one of you guys knows where to find one, please message me!) It is one of the most cherished traditions during basketball games and you can't spend your money on a version of that flag to hang in your home Hoosier Room! Tragic!
  2. Is CJ Gunn missing from this?
  3. More former IU players weighing in positively
  4. I'm just excited to be excited about IUBB again! Between a coaching search on the men's side and the women on the brink of tourney success... I'm a HOOSIER!
  5. From the reddit post-game thread: https://old.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/e43jmr/postgame_thread_indiana_defeats_purdue_4441_2ot/f96o2tf/ p.s. CRAZY to think that 2020 is right around the corner!
  6. LET'S GO HOOSIERS
  7. He gives us an option to play against teams with big, strong inside guys. He will give us important minutes, even if it is a lot less than what he could have had last year.
  8. TGIBBS Thank God It's Basketball Season!!!
  9. At least Robbie Hummel is wearing a Crimson tie!
  10. This BTN commentator NEVER shuts up... I need to sync the radio broadcast at half
  11. This highlight on Twitter has me so excited for improved D this year! https://twitter.com/IndianaOnBTN/status/1058134860815044610 (whats up with the northwestern lead-in, btn??? )
  12. I remember a somewhat similar sense of disbelief back when we made a coaching change that made it possible to land elite talent from Indiana... In comes Kelvin Sampson and all of the sudden EG gives us a serious look... "No way, he eliminated IU as a possibility a long time ago!" I thought. Then a few weeks later, "Holy cow! We're an option again!" Bright times ahead for Hoosier fans!
  13. Hoosier Hysteria and MM "practices" like it are celebrations. The long off-season is finally coming to an end and these events are a chance to meet the new team. The players get their first chance to introduce themselves and what they are bringing to Hoosier Nation. And likewise, it is Hoosier Nation's first chance to show the players the community they are joining. Fun and passion for basketball. On October 21st, let's show everyone what we are all about!
  14. Is the next phrase going to be something like "Milled"? Since he is a miller? <_< >_> I'll see my self out...
  15. Welcome, Coach Miller! I just went and changed into all my IU gear, swapped out my cup for an IU cup, and am brewing some more coffee to put in my IU mug! GO HOOSIERS!
  16. I will only watch via methods that cannot be tracked for ratings; at the bar, via "totally legitimate" streaming site, etc. I won't let them count me in any sort of metric that could indicate I am supporting a team "coached" by Crean. I'm an alumnus, I love my school, I love basketball, and I love Indiana Hoosier basketball even if it shortens my life expectancy by watching it.
