What would this conversation have looked like in your opinion? Woodson was hired for 6 seasons per Wikipedia. Dolson would tell him that if we find someone better after the 3rd season you are done? Not saying you aren't correct in some way, I just can't wrap my head around Dolson telling Woodson he may be done at IU after half of his contract, especially if he were to make 3 tournaments in a row - which after the final Crean seasons and the entire Archie tenure - was a welcome sight

After making the tournament in his first 2 seasons, with a possible 3rd, would you really move on from Woodson if he weren’t ready to hang up his whistle? That seems like a possible ugly divorce scenario

Doubt Woodson isn’t ready to call it quits yet. May seems like an obvious fit, just not sure the timing is going to work out. Going to be pricy to pry him away from Louisville if he does get hired there, which seems to be another fit for May due to his hometown.

Hard to watch bowl games until closer to New Years with the portal leaving teams to their 3rd string QB - or in some cases starting a TE at QB as Syracuse did. Portal really has changed the feel of these bowl games

I don't disagree, more questioning, what does this roster need to look like for Woodson to reach the levels of success he's talking about - conference and national titles. This is miles off. As far as I know Newton isn't a shooter and X I know isn't. Maybe they would help defend the 3, but offensively this is a mess
