I’m hoping this thread reaches 10,000 messages. The longer the wait the more likely it’s Stevens by my logic. I’m not liking this chatter about our fan base. In NC there talking about firing Roy Williams and I’m also sure that Boston fans are a classy bunch every day. Nothing but rainbows over there (this is sarcasm by the way).

I’m so ashamed of our school. Everyone who had their hand in making this program watered down for over the last 30 years should be fired or ........ It hurts that we will miss out on a tournament that will be held in Indiana. Breaks my heart.

We are so pathetic

You know I get that we want to get better, but historically I don’t think we’ve had anything this special with our football team. I understand that we need higher rated recruits to put us over the edge but at the same time this is really the first year that high level out of state recruits would even hear or consider our program. I get we need to but don’t be surprised if it takes a couple more years. Maybe we can get one or two top 100 but I wouldn’t expect it this year.

If you find a great football coach that wants to stay, you take out a loan to pay his salary. The money you get back (only from UNC experience) is ridiculous.

I’m all for paying Allen whatever he wants. The Football program (from what I see from UNC) is the main source of income that helps all other sports flourish. And then some. Not right now, but this can help IU basketball a ton.

The only place that I would be interested socially would be Minnesota and Sacramento (tie). I’ve been to all those places, but I honestly still love Bloomington socially. We actually have a better arts atmosphere than those places and of course Mother Bears makes a good frozen White Russian.

Give me a percentage- how likely is Coach Miller gone after this season?

Guys these attacks that Archie wasn’t deserving of the gig are off base. Many programs and people around the game all said that IU made a great hire. It didn’t work out, but it doesn’t mean we have to be bitter at him. Just replace the guy and we move on.

I walked my dogs around, lifted, and fixed up my house. It was a very productive day for me.......sad times.

I turned to tasks after the first half of the Rutgers game. It’s sad but I’m at the point were I don’t want to put myself through this mess. I always ask myself, am I maturing or is that I recognize that the program is moving itself to irrelevance. Sad.
