Denzel Moore Commits (2023 LB)

I liked how he waits for the play to develop before he strikes. -

Would love to footage of this guy. -
I’m not downing Woodson . However being a Knicks fan I know that Hammond has some advantages over him. Frankly she’ll have more energy and enthusiasm on the recruiting trail. I think x/o and development he has a slight advantage but it’s not like she’s a slouch. Buddy you’re trying to dictate a narrative. She’s not my first choice but if we keep getting rejected I would take her in a heart beat.

As a Knicks fan I followed Woodson closely. Great tactical acumen and good at development. Never got a real fair shake in the NBA because he never had a good team surround him (GM’s fault). However, he did not seem to have the energy to keep people motivated and I wonder if he could be an effective recruiter.

However a logical concern is that maybe the state and fan base wouldn’t be ready or accepting of it thus effecting recruiting and building relationships needed to get local assistant coaches. That’s tough but a realistic concern. I’m coming at this topic not because she’s a woman but I’ve heard many of time that she can coach over the past two years.

Well when u make baseless statements like your making then yeeeeeaaaaah maybe it’s warranted. Other posters have mentioned some logical concerns like the ability to recruit which sad but fair. You’re just posting for show without substance . By the way - IU undergrad - UNC MBA- IU law - I think I’m good at the IU department as well.

Candidate Thread: Brad Stevens (Boston Celtics)

@Chris007 and @IUwins0708 Thank you again for tolerating the smoke and having the comfort of posting still. There are always crazies everywhere but when it comes to IU basketball we can be a great bunch. -
The only counter that I have is that if a recruit or the father of the recruit doesn’t give her a fair shake, they would have to then face the mamma. I’m Hispanic so I would rather take my chances in a bar fight then mess with my mom (it’s a family gather and kill thing). But yes I agree that would be an obstacle.

I’m basing it trying to get the best person for the job. I agree that there are others that I would put ahead of her but I fear that if there’s a scenario where those coaches might just use us for leverage (like Brad Stevens)to increase their salaries. This would be to me the best case scenario if we need to go to tier 2. Better than Alford that’s for sure.

I will say this. I’ve always felt that since Knight got fired, the media and the forces that be have always looked at us to fail in any way possible. If we hired her that goes away, because she would get national coverage and would not look like scum. That aside I think she’s at least worth an interview.

U see this topic reveals that yeah I’m good guy......but oh boy if i wanted to, I’d excel in this business of bribing athletes. Aka be a good evil villain.

God willing if I ever win the lotto, I’d probably bribe players ( I wouldn’t affiliate myself with the university- I’d go rogue). Hey at least I’m being honest.

If he’s getting 10 million - I’d be ok with firing him on his wedding anniversary. -

I’m at Durham and went to UNC for my MBA ——-not a calmer atmosphere. They’re actually worse than us and if Bilas wasn’t on one knee with DUKE/UNC he would admit that as well. -
