Does that make you a big deal or a big baller? -

So are you a big deal too? Just checking because I have a hard time deciding who the biggest deal is around here. (Sarcasm) -

Good luck to Jake. He would be sitting 4th string here next year, maybe 5th, assuming Brunk comes. Brunk, Davis, TJD, and Race are all ahead of him on the depth chart. -
So you think reasonable expectations in year 2 of a coaches tenure in basketball is making a deep run in the NCAA tournament? Bc you just said making the tournament wouldn’t have been enough.

Good for Jamie Dixon. I believe is a So Cal guy. Getting to go home and he should do well in a terrible PAC 12. Time for Desmond Bane to come home too.

Football is way different than basketball when turning a program around. I think he made a mistake by bringing in DeBord as his OC. He needed to stay with a OC who was innovative. I think Allen understands the defensive side very well. I think the new OC could be a big addition but you have to give Allen 4-5 years to see what you really got. Recruiting is on the upswing. I don’t understand the fans who constantly want change. All that does is setback your programs. Nobody is turning around football in 2 years. Archie was 1 game away from turning around IU basketball in 2 years. People need to relax a bit.

Fields was claiming racism for leaving Georgia. Georgia wanted no part of that media storm, so they didn’t dispute it. Not sure what Tate claimed. If there is any dispute about immediate eligibility, then the NCAA has to investigate.

OSU and Georgia didn’t fight the transfers. Is Utah disputing it on Tuttle? When Shea Patterson went to Michigan Ole Miss fought it. So they didn't know until summer I believe.

You don’t fire Fred and keep the president or the results will stay the same. You don’t know what restraints are on Fred when hiring coaches. To be honest I don’t really care about IU football as long as they make money. It’s basketball that I care about. It’s basketball on which he will be vindicated or fired for. But the next AD will still have the same issues if the top stays the same. Would you have fired Wilson with the issues he had?

Really? You want change and Old friend is telling you where the real problem is and you respond by saying don’t read the thread? Hahaha. Now I know you don’t really want change for the better, you just want to troll. Carry on.

I think they are raising the G League salaries to low 6 figures a year. That wasn’t the case the last time around. I think the Zions, RJ Barrett’s, Romeo’s will go straight to the NBA. We will see 1 and dones, it it will not be at the current rate.

This was the game that I saw. Franklin looked good, Windham looked better. Kid played with an edge to him. Wasn’t going to be beaten. -

To be honest, when I watched him that one game, my thought was damn IU missed the boat on this kid. Then I looked up his reveuiting profile and what my eyes saw and where the services ranked him didn’t match. Again, it was a one game sample for me so I assumed it was a one off type game. But his season averages have been really good. If we get a grad transfer, I think it will be someone who can contribute off the bench. This kid can probably fill that same role. -

Just watched the one game vs Cathedral. He played a tough hard nosed game. Cathedral couldn’t handle him. But outside of Franklin, I wasn’t impressed with anyone else on Cathedral. I believe they were ranked #6 at the time. -

Watched him play vs Cathedral this season and the kid was a beast. Not sure if he played at that level all season or not. I was impressed. -

Langford hasn’t announced yet. Likely gone but nothing official yet. -
The one and done model that K and Cal are using doesn’t win at a high enough level consistently enough. There is a reason only 2 teams have won it all that way. With the window closing on this model, Duke needs to focus on getting some guys who stick around. If not, you will get stuck with a team that is super young, less talented, and likely a coach not named K come 2022.

They still have to do their own end of season meetings with the current roster. They might not k ow how that will shake out yet, to know how many spots they need to fill. Right now we have 1 spot and the rumors are we have a shot at Brunk. -
Effort, effort, effort. The team playing with passion. The 2nd game Justin Smith played above the rest of his season.
