  1. Indiana doesn't play modern basketball. Poor shooting and poor guard play, pretty much the opposite of a formula for success.
  2. Find another hobby, you'll be happier.
  3. IU hasn't been serious about basketball since the 90s. It's not worth the emotional, monetary, and time investments. I can honestly say I haven't watched a full game this year after being a diehard fan for most of the last 2 decades. Sad really, but I've found other ways to spend those hours that don't end in disappointment.
  4. College basketball is and forever will be a guard's game. High level guard play has been desperately needed from this program since Yogi. You just don't win big time in college hoops without great guards.
  5. I'm getting ahead of myself but this region is not daunting
  6. Those might be the most impressive consecutive 3 offensive plays I've seen from a Hoosier! TJD
  7. The seas are parting. I'm feeling good about the Hoosiers region!
  8. So Houston would have to basically play an away game against a 9 seed? Ok
  9. It sounds like a home game
  10. As much as I hate Iowa, how the heck does the committee justify putting Auburn in Birmingham as a 9 seed?
  11. JHS will decide how far we advance. He is the type of player that can light up a tournament like this. Our front court can matchup with anyone. Kopp and Bates get hot. Who knows...
  12. Listening to Sirius XM 84 earlier. They did a segment on each region with Coach K. During the Midwest segment Indiana was not mentioned once. They talked about Houston, Texas, Xavier, and Miami. They discussed TAMU vs Penn St for awhile and how both teams were underseeded. Not one mention of the Hoosiers...
  13. A road loss...shocker. If Kopps minutes went to someone else this team would be better off.
  14. Great win. Am I the only one that doesn't understand why Kopp still plays?
  15. There are always excuses for this program being a shell of itself.
  16. Notre Dame/Stanford UNC/Virginia/(Duke?) Clemson/Georgia Tech(?) Florida St/Miami Oregon/Washington
  17. I haven't been following it all but is the premise someone NOT named Notre Dame? Because that's the clear #1-choice-no-brainer. If so, it's gotta be UNC unless you can get Texas. A Florida team would be very close to the top as well. OTOH it makes sense to bring in a couple more Pac 12 teams to lessen the travel blow to USC and UCLA. This isn't an easy answer and it almost assuredly would be at minimum a pair. In fact, it would be more relevant to group universities in pairs and vote on those.
  18. Close enough. The point is we should be more self aware than this.
  19. Picture Tennesee football fans claiming they didn't want to play Clemson in a fictitious ACC/SEC football challenge because they aren't marquee names like Florida St or Miami...
  20. Man, maybe I need to get myself more hyped but I'd take a top 4 finish in a heartbeat. I know the big 10, on paper, should be down a bit next year but I can't yet predict a #1 finish for an IU program that has been so mediocre over the last 5+ years. I hope you all are right.
  21. Don't want to get too off subject, but Hulls was not a true PG. It was a natural shift to play Yogi ar PG and Hulls at SG
  22. Geronimo was one of our most efficient players last year. He just needs playing time. There was already significant improvement in his game over the course of last season.
  23. We have a legitimate 10-11 guys that should be seeing minutes next year. Woodson can do his pro-style lineup swaps without hesitation.
