The results haven’t been what I/you/most would expect given the NIL and talent that’s for sure but he isn’t getting fired and it has nothing to do with his contract. you clearly don’t like him but IU would be ecstatic to have his results over the last 20 years. He averaged an elite 8 for Pete’s sake. That’s better than what we’ve done since 2002

That’s what you took from the post? You said Woodson would be the last one to know. He might be the last person Dolson would tell but that is irrelevant. A lot of the leaks come from PLAYERS, COACHES, BOT, DONORS and he is connected with those people every day. Therefore leaks that hit massage boards are rarely coming from Dolson or the coach, it comes from those groups above and maybe a few other people - and yes, if the poster here is to be believed, apparently info is coming from Woodson too.

He’s having an average year this year so that might cloud some perceptions or excitement around him, but what he has done at Baylor of all places is pretty awesome. that place was a dumpster fire and he’s made them relevant

Very true, I just meant whether a house was officially on the market, listed etc, unless the agent he was working with had dual agency, the folks on other end of the deal could know who was making the purchase. All kind of silly as it would likely get shielded in a trust or something anyway.

Just spent a few mins looking myself. I set the minimum value at $1mm and there are not many to choose from. The interesting part is that almost all of the available homes over $1mm all have different listing agents. the coach might have an nda with the buyers agent but would likely need to buy the home in some sort of LLC or Trust of some kind to keep the buyer’s info private.

I see someone already beat me to the Leal reference. I will genuinely be interested if Woodson uses Leal as his realtor when/if he moves.

For some it’s not that anyone is largely opposed to this. If you need to go outside the box because other options aren’t available that’s great. i think this is outside the box. Hiring an NBA GM to be a college basketball head coach vs just hiring one of the best current Baskebtall coaches is certainly different. Curious why having Stevens lower on a priority list is mind blowing? Few, Pearl, Pitino, Otz Drew and the list can be longer are all here grinding and would do great here and to me are a bigger priority.

It’s been known that Pearl has wanted the IU job in the past, even as recent as 1 year ago. I can’t prove that but have heard that from people I trust and many here have shared that too.
