Agree. The new coach doesn’t have to win big right away but the key to keeping the fanbase happy is good coaching, players improving, E&E from both the players and staff, using the portal as well as building foundations with high school recruiting etc. Those things buy you time

Not sure I understand what that means. last go around Dolson was charged with finding the coach, no different than this go around. At a similar stage in the game, he did not have anyone locked in, thus he didn’t know who the coach would be. Later on, they took that control from him but that’s not the point. It’s entirely possible Dolson still doesn’t know who it is

I can assure you we did. This isnt one of the premier betting sites and there isn’t much action on the Indiana coaching search outside of our fanbase. it sat at +5000 for at least an hour and then when we all started betting we watched it move quickly and then paused. There isn’t enough action on the other side to match the liability they just took on from +5000 odds we all just loaded up on.

That’s not how it works. They just want the money even on each side and it got lopsided quickly so they turned it off.

They also passed on coach K, Self, Izzo, Painter etc etc. This reference to UK and UofL passing on people that keeps getting regurgitated is such a strange argument. you can only hire 1 guy, that doesn’t mean that they “passed” on everyone else.

Haha, so this site is terrible. I swung the odds from +5000 to +2500 with one bet it flipped to +2500 as soon as I refreshed. Still don’t believe it but figured wtfn with those odds

Just to be clear, unless you or anyone on this board are a part of his trusted inner circle I don’t fault you for sharing what you hear and in fact appreciate it. my point is that there are only a few people that have all the info and if those people are leaking things then they should be fired. I don’t believe the info that hits these boards is directly coming from those people but people around them and that leaves room for error and consistent error because the error of one quickly becomes a thing that is whispered, texted, message board fodder, social media posts etc.
