Pretty amazing how this insane rape/cover up culture at MSU hasn’t slowed them down Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Yeah, not much of that story makes any sense. Why were they playing if it was a walk through? Who were they playing considering we know a lot of the players aren’t on campus. Why were all the freshmen there etc? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

If Davis is healthy he will eat up 20 minutes at the 5. Fitzner and Thompson can eat up some minutes there too. Morgan can sit or slide to the 4 when fitzner or Thompson are in So maybe 15 minutes at the 5 and 10 at the 4 for 25 minutes a game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Green Langford Smith McRoberts Morgan I feel like that lineup gives us enough size, familiarity with the system and leadership Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

It’s just the list of schools recruiting him the hardest. Can’t blame Fran for trying Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Why is it a problem? He averaged 10 a game and even more before he started to fade due to his injury. That’s pretty good, also taking into consideration he was the most efficient scorer we had Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Fitzner seems like a good counter to Davis, gives us options. If Davis is healthy, he is a huge asset, no question unless you are strangely biased Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

you have been nothing but a Brillo pad since arriving here - abrasive Argumentative with nothing to back it and when people point out your wrongs you move the goal posts. He was one of our best and most consistent players as a SOPHOMORE before enduring a season ending injury that nagged him for games before sidelining him. You can’t argue his productivity. If you don’t like him who do you like sans Morgan? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Do some due diligence before you bash and follow it up with baseless comments about one of our players. Below are the stats of a sophomore before he got hurt. He was one of the most impactful players we had and many were asking if he might go pro. Vs ISU - 14/3 Vs HOW - 17/6 Vs USF - 12/5 Vs ARST - 10/6 Vs EMU - 11/4 Vs DUKE - 16/5 Vs IOWA - 13/6 Vs LOU - 14/7 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

He did just fine against Duke, in fact one could argue he was the most impactful player on the court. He has all the tools when healthy to be force. He played hurt for a while and then sat out the rest of his sophomore season. He is young and been injured... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

It was just a year ago we watched two monsters hold down the middle in the championship game karnowski vs meeks. Those guys created fits for teams that did not have a big that could defend them and their coaches were smart enough to know how to use them properly All about schemes and players understanding their roles. these types of players are still relevant and impactful in the game, more so college but that is what we are talking about Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Does Freddie know the game? I think he would be a great guy to keep around the program as a grad assistant or something as he seems to love IU and is good with people/recruits etc. just not sure if he really knows the game that well vs just being a physical specimen Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

He won’t know anymore about Romeo in the fall then he knows now. Romeos projected as a lottery pick and one and done, that only changes in March/April next year if he is injured, had a lackluster season or just pulls a Bridges and says he wants to come back and compete for a championship Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
in a lineup where we roll out Morgan and Smith as our 4 and 5 we will get eaten alive by a good post player like haas, biggie, Davis etc as there isn’t anyone that can defend the post All about the scheme and how you hide deficiencies, not Team is going to have everything covered Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Purdue and others have done well with guys like Davis. The game is whatever a coach and team want to play, it’s not like there is a one sized fits all that everyone has to mold into. I agree he doesn’t fit well in Archie’s system but put him on Purdue or Northwestern etc and he becomes a problem for a team like IU Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
MikeRoberts replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Garland recruitment. Not faulting anyone but I do recall Chris saying we were looking good to get Garland all the way up till the end, only to find out later we weren’t even in it, said to be 4th. I too believe they are right, or at least want to believe but people can be wrong, even coaches and friends and associates of those coaches. It’s hard to read kids and sometimes it is easier for them to say what they think we want to hear. I feel like this one is different and our guys nailed it but... In reality, what source has been take it the bank correct? Our guys have missed here and there - really believed we were looking good to get Garland there and in reality we weren’t even really in it. Their guys said definitively we were getting Donovan and many have said since that was never even a realistic option etc so some of our best sources have been way off. I think they all got it right and right pretty early on this one but who knows until Monday Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Is it possible for both IU and Kansas coaches to feel confided based on what they have been told? I just wonder if IU and Kansas are both thinking it’s them. It wouldn’t be the first time a coach thought he was getting a player and they went elsewhere Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
