IU needs any and all wins. Not only is it prudent to win this one, but each additional win brings the possibility of getting better seeding or at least may not drop. Makes me feel like we get to possibly go further into the B1G and NCAA Tourneys since better seeding typically means an easier first round or less games to work into the Sweet 16. Likely makes recruiting easier, too. Not a must win?! Really? Just win, baby!

We will be ringing the bell with you soon! Too many of our friends have had chemo/radiation. And yes, this is a 'really gotta have the win' game.

Now wait a gosh-darned minute. Really happy? NO! Anecdotal postings and discussions with fans show more relief than happiness that this team is gelling. They seem to have embraced the understanding that to win requires 40 minutes of effort. And they are getting better near the end of the regular season. They are not getting out of position as much on defense. Assists are back. And more than one player is scoring. Credit to Enright, Wilkerson, and our bigs are in it to win it. As the season began, many of us wondered about many things including the lack of going after some player to plug the inside on defense. I always am concerned about our point guard situation. And Coach DV is still an unknown, to me. A vote on very satisfied or not will come after the season. Maybe after the second season. It is an upward trend...seemingly. 4 wins out of 5 in the B1G late in the season is sweet. Really sweet. I am still trying to get my head around the one-year rent-a-player, who are these guys (?) state of the game. It is entertaining. Now. A relief. Not so much 5 games ago. How will we feel in a week or so? We are entering into a meat grinder for the next two games.

The refs were terrible, again. In the first half, the refs let the teams play. In the second half, the refs called a game that they did not see. The last few minutes, IU may have been helped by the referees becoming part of the selection committee. Did the UW player step on Wilkerson's heel and trip him? Yes. Did UW's guard always lower his head and nail our defender in the chest? Yes. Were they both controversial? Yes. Gee, makes one think of the home cooking in Kohl Arena since forever. IU has gotten screwed by those zebras, maybe it is our turn....for some help. I don't care...gotta win in spite of the calls. IU owned the paint. A tip of the ole toupee to Big Sam! 9 of 10 from the field...and blocks and rebounds. DeVries is back! Enright played some serious ball. Looked like 3 of our guys weren't playing great...maybe flu. And Wilkerson got frustrated and shot selection wasn't great from way out. But he is cool at the line down in the end. Why Coach Devries and Coach Gard both do not call timeouts when it would help compose their teams, I just don't understand. Our defense was better. IU won the game with grit. But bad officiating in the B1G is SOP. Complain about the weather too, Coach Gard? Playing defense would be more productive.

Do not put Dorn in. Play some defense. Get a new head coach.

Enright and Wilkerson are really getting some decent assists. Great recognition and passing. Wisconsin is not defending well inside and not stopping our guards/perimeter work.
