Penn State starting five likely will be Baldwin, Dilione, Johnson, Hicks and Konan Niederhauser. Dunn and Kern might be the first two off the bench. Penn State won two regular season games against IU last year. IU won the game in the B1G Tournament. Against Northwestern, last night, Penn State jumped into the lead, but Northwestern stayed with them and went ahead. Penn State turned over the ball 17 times allowing a 'pesky' Northwestern to stay in the game. Northwestern had 16 turnovers. Northwestern had 30 fouls called against them. PSU only had 17. It was tied with seconds to go. "Forward Zach Hicks led Penn State with 20 points on 5-of-8 shooting, while Baldwin turned in a unique stat line. The Nittany Lions point guard scored 17 points on 1-of-7 shooting, but he made 15 of his 16 free throw attempts while dishing out seven assists. Guard/forward Puff Johnson (11 points) and guard Freddie Dilione V (10 points) each reached double figures, while Konan Niederhauser and guard Nick Kern had nine. Dunn finished with eight." Per Penn State basketball outlasts Northwestern for 84-80 win in Big Ten play

The game is being played in the old 9000 seat arena in Philadelphia named The Palestra. Penn State men’s basketball set to write latest chapter in The Palestra’s rich history | Penn State Men's Basketball News | psucollegian.com Actually, it is not really at home for PSU. Kind of like IU playing at The Hinkle Fieldhouse Lite. Hinkle is much bigger. And it is in Indiana...the center of the universe for basketball. Penn State just hosted Northwestern and beat them 84 - 80. Penn State is now undefeated at home with 9 wins. They are 12 - 2, 2- 1. Penn State Basketball Wins 'Gutcheck' Big Ten Game Vs. Northwestern

Reneau...how is he? Is it a recurring thing? 1st half was a riot. What happened in the 2nd half to change that? Whistles? Damn refs were worse than the weather will be in a couple of days.

What's the word on Ballo? I will speculate that he will play. The word is likely....keep Rutger guessing. So, then, what's the word on Woody? I will speculate that he will stare and glare. The word is likely...he is attempting telepathy. So, two struggling teams meet in a conference game. I hope Reneau doesn't foul twice in the first half...early on. I hope that defense is good...whichever team has the best defense and hangs on to the ball will win this. Could be a high scoring game.

Is the Scarlet Knights a tribute to Indiana's Robert Montgomery Knight and the three National Championships won under his coaching? Rutgers is decent on offense and soft on defense. They are still adjusting to Harper being so good on offense. Bailey is still working through his adjustments. IU is a good shooting team, except for threes. Defensively, they are ok if they try. Do not lose the ball with turnovers and go after rebounds. Both teams are struggling for different reasons. Rutgers has whiffed on the transfer portal bigs. And they are focusing on offense more than defense this year in order to recruit those that want to get into the NBA. IU is struggling because...well, we know why...effort, lack of focus, chemistry, ball handling, effort, few threes, coaching and effort.
