I was just thinking the same thing. There is still time. He brings a couple of his dudes to fill out the roster. Picks up a couple of portal players. And starts building a foundation with next year's high schoolers. I'll put the bottle down now. :)

How do we know Schertz doesn't bring the whole band to SLU? Or even keep the band together in Terre Haute for one last run at the big dance? Sure they all would be nuts for not taking the money, but stranger things have happened.

Reality check fellas. As of 5:30 pm today, we ain't got squat. Still have 6 open spots. A couple of cancelled visits. A rumored fly in to see a kid who lives in town. And only 2, maybe 3 players to be named later when the tourney finals are completed. Who would think a guy who went 0-31 (or ok 1-32) with HS recruits would be hitting them out of the portal park. PS: If my track record is any good, it should mean we get a commit tonight. :)

Not at the time my kid was there. It was the exact same, down to the plywood fixtures for closets and such. They did redo it after to get rid of the mold.

If you watch them, the ball never stops in the post. And frequently, it's not a first option -- you see them with pull up jumpers a lot. When they do go post to Edey, it's either a quick move to the bucket or a quick pass back out. Then, maybe a reset and a second pass back in. Meanwhile, the guards/wings are all moving about. It's a much more open system than what IU does.

Or the kid is about to commit elsewhere?
