  1. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Granted first exhibition game, but to me still looks like some structural issues remain — gave a lot of open looks to TN from 3 (which they missed) and IU missed a lot of threes as well. Hopefully they’ll change that and/or the new talent will make it less concerning. Everything else looked good for the first one.
  2. If your O-line doesn’t drink beer and drop F bombs, you suck.
  3. I guess we have different definitions of "stud" then.
  4. Projected 10 seed in the playoffs. Who woulda thunk it.
  5. Define stud then. For me it’s a lock first round draft pick. See i.e. Caleb Wlliams, Jayden Daniels. Rouuke has played himself into the draft.
  6. Doesn’t make him a “stud.” His best characteristic is consistency and steadiness. Can go a long way with that. But not a stud.
  7. Total team effort on this game. All three phases.
  8. Rouke isn’t a “stud.” He’s an experienced does what is supposed to be done QB. Right now TJ lacks consistency.
  9. That’s the answer we needed. Much different with a no read handoff.
  10. Geeze Debbie Downer. You must be fun at parties.
  11. Gotta answer here. Need a nice drive down the field.
  12. Those points are on the refs. Horrible no call. Still have the lead.
  13. Those handoff don’t look clean. Almost like TJ is trying to keep it. Have to go to a positive give down at the goal line.
  14. Kid lowers the ball a yard before the end zone and cig gets on him — high and tight son. It’s the little things that matter.
  15. Lots of defensive penetration. Need to clean up the tackles for loss.
  16. Perfect time to take a shot at the end zone. Come back and run for the first down. Didn’t like the QB sneak call.
  17. Yeah, with our old QB. :) But, What have you done for me lately. The comment was about turning things around in 1 year via the portal It ain’t so easy
  18. So they are different players. Rourke is clearly the "journeyman" with the consistency to match. TJ is more athletic and can make things happen if necessary. It looks to me, from the little I have seen of TJ, that Rourke has forced him to get better. He looks less "spastic" than he did last year. Consistency should come -- hopefully fast.
  19. If after a what, $10 million payroll, decent to good is all we get, he should be gone. Give the money to Cig.
  20. Yes and no. Cig is a one in a million find. Look at the last few years of coaches hired. That guy at Alabama comes to mind.
