  1. I kinda wanted a few guys to make improvements. Doesn't appear to have happened. We got some key guys out with or nursing injuries and the cupboard is basically empty.
  2. Respectfully, we don't really have a team full of talent. We have a few guys, and many one dimensional players. I won't name names cause I don't really like dissing on kids. Buy we all know who's who on this team. Our most complete player is a freshman, who will make a freshman mistake from time to time.
  3. Am I the only one who wants to take Fran to the parking lot and beat the crap out of him?
  4. This is fkg bs. As soon as franimal came out these refs went all turtle. Aholes.
  5. Lots of movement on offense. JHS playing like Magic with those feeds.
  6. Lot of chicago kids are still home. Easy trip behind the corn curtain to Iowa.
  7. Poor kid, that's going to haunt him for quite some time. :)
  8. Ah, the wonders of titanium. Pin it up and lets get going. :) Truthfully, hope he does all right, doesn't rush, and rehabs properly. My guess is he's got a career overseas if he wants it.
  9. Woodson has been saying Logan has been struggling with an illness which put him out of shape. Say's he's got to get him in better shape.
  10. Hard to be a cool program when you struggle to make the tournament.
  11. I think this is an important point that is completely overlooked by the Uniform/swag/gameday side show. And I think that Woody's idea of seemingly playing an "NBA style" offense if successful in the Big 10 might help change that as others will copy. One can hope, right?
  12. Yeah, the small things like hitting 3s at a consistent pace. Players play. The rest is a side show.
  13. I thought you young folks where supposed to be stewards of the environment and such. A pamphlet like that is an environmental disaster. For every one that gets used, I’ll bet 100 end up in the trash. Aren’t the young folks all digital and online anyway?
  14. You can’t be the naive. When a team, any team, wins a national championship every Tom Dick and Harry comes out of the woodwork and jumps on the bandwagon. Demand for their stuff skyrockets. That may explain the inventory the lady saw. And if you’re correct, that demand is high for IU, then everything you have been claiming in this thread is bogus. Indiana must be doing something right if people are traveling all over, packing arenas, to see them. Maybe that’s why you can’t find a 1/4 zip. They’re all sold out.
  15. Brad Stevens isn't even coaching any longer. Don't think he was ever coming. Billy Donavan, another board favorite, is sucking it up in Chicago. Woody is the Savior. (or not, we'll see).
  16. Sure, but don't forget they are the National Champions. Interest goes way way way up when that happens and thus the demand for stuff.
  17. Don't forget Indiana State and IUPUI Ft Wayne. :) Frankly, I discount the entire Archie Miller era. It was such a turd show it shouldn't count. Maybe we could vacate those seasons.
  18. So he's going to turn down his scholarship offer? And Dad's ok with that reasoning?
  19. IDK, maybe not what we expected to see in our internet land. Eye test may be deceiving, but based on the small sample size to date, many individual player shooting stats are up as well as the team's shooting stats.
  20. You guys make is sound like they are wearing wool from the 1900s. In the past few years, they have worn a few alternates. It's not the uniforms fellas.
  21. I think people under estimate the damage the whole Sampson "death penalty" did to the program. It's almost impossible to recover from. And I agree, Crean should get kudos for stepping in and bringing the program back from the abyss. But hell it's easier to blame the uniforms and the shirts in the stadium shop. :)
  22. Not at all. A locker room isn’t a little thing. It’s DIRECTLY related to the basket ball program. It’s their workspace. They probably spend more time in the locker room than on the court. But the clothing inventory in the stadium shop is a fly on an elephants butt. It’s completely irrelevant to the program.
  23. Dude, it’s a complete side show. Your buddy preparedness is indicative. Stuff he was doing was to prep his body for the ride. The analogy to the basketball program is to focus on protecting the ball, limiting turn overs, crisp passes, proper spacing, press breaks, inbounds plays, etc. All the little details ON THE COURT. The stock in the gear store is completely irrelevant, although it appears to disturb some of our younger fans. And here’s the second thing. I don’t want a farqung narrative that we are competitive. I actually want to be competitive again ON THE COURT.
