Can handle the ball very well. Played his senior year at Centerville OH where someone else we know well was on the team. Former 4 star recruit. #93 in the 247 composite. Long-lanky with skills better suited for the perimeter than the post. Could easily play the 3 I think.

Maybe the family/Mgbako himself wanted to check out other options. They left IU loving it. Went home and chatted with other players involved. They suggested he still go to Louisville for whatever reason.

Not just connections between he and Smith (the assistant). Connections with the agency he signed with and people behind the scenes connected to UL. Could be a little push that direction due to those connections. We won't know for sure until things are announced officially.

I can agree with that 100%. Not saying his opinion is gospel by any stretch but wanted to share it out. I think the truth is probably somewhere in between what everyone keeps sharing. Maybe he does eventually pick UL but Rabby and other "insiders" from other sites have changed their opinions many times already.

Weird, when someone has a differing opinion than your own you like to jump down throats. Maybe he knows, maybe he doesn't, I was just passing along what he said. Glad you got a good laugh from it.

Curious, how is it clickbait when he did not post a link to his website saying this? It's not like he posted on twitter with a eye-catching headline requiring you to click a link to his page. Not saying he is always right or wrong or whatever, just don't consider this particular instance to be clickbait as you called it. "content whose main purpose is to attract attention and encourage visitors to click on a link to a particular web page"

Rabby mentioned as things stood at 11 am (EST I assume) the plan was to arrive in Bloomington later today with the bulk of his visit being tomorrow.

Rabby mentioned it could be a three team race right now between IU, St. Johns, and Louisville. Didn't say why Kansas may be on the outside looking in, but he did mention it.

IU has an almost perfect pitch to him. A strong, mature, seasoned lead guard to help set the table. A highly ranked big that will most certainly require attention inside. Plenty of open minutes and shots from the wing with no current sure-fire options. Former NBA HC with proven track record of development and getting guys to the league (I know its not official yet but JHS and TJD gong higher than projected before the season will help). NIL potential. Some of the other choices can offer a few of those, none can offer ALL of them like IU can.

My question, how many open spots does Kansas currently have? I understand more room can always be made.

The order in which those pieces get solidified is not entirely up to the staff. Its timing. If they miss on a couple guys they like for the top of the rotation and there aren't any out there, at the time, that they determine fits the top, why would they sit around and not plug the other spots on the roster they think need addressed?

Read from another site that St. John's is this weekend, IU is end of next week (maybe the weekend). The other two are unknown as far as officially set dates. Some have speculated that he will go St. Johns, to Louisville, to IU, then Kansas. Louisville board is where that came from. They also think if that is the schedule and he leaves Louisville without committing and makes it to the IU official, that their chances go way down.

I agree with most of what you've said here, the only guy he is currently "behind" if he were to come to IU would be Reneau.

Per insider(s), the belief is that there are parts of his game that could be unlocked in Woody's system. A more athletic, ball handling 4 wouldn't be the worst thing. A few clips I saw he can definitely put it on the floor. He made Race look like he was standing still a couple times in the NCAA tourney.

This offense is no joke, just need more consistent pitching and this team can easily host a regional round
