      Better to use up as much time as possible. If there's any time on the clock and our defense has to go back on the field, they're giving up points.

    I had to turn it off. I don't think some of you realize how bad Bowling Green is. What a pathetic program.

    If we had a kicker anywhere near as good as Bowling Green's we wouldn't have to go for it on fourth and short while in field goal range only to get stuffed by a smaller defense.

    Kind of disappointed by this score. I certainly wasn't expecting to see 73 again but thought it would be in the neighborhood of 45-17 or so.      How do you get 566 yards and score less than 30 points?

    No way Wilson gets fired this year. Our athletic department is already hamstrung by one horrible contract; we're not buying out another.

    On another board I saw someone mention Damon Bailey as a potential replacement. What are some thoughts on that?

    A coach who views IU as his dream job and gives the program a shot in the arm becomes ill and only coaches here for two seasons.        Sadly we've seen this before. Unbelievable.  :(

    The position numbers on the Tampa Bay Rays' lineup card tonight were, in order, 8-6-7-5-3-DH-9.

    The old Verlander made an appearance tonight: 7 innings, 1 earned run, 4 hits, 1 walk, 8 strikeouts.      The Tigers' overpaid closer stole a win from him.

    It really is amazing how bad Justin Verlander has become. Once a threat to throw a no-hitter every time he took the mound, he's now sporting a 4.76 ERA with more walks and fewer strikeouts.

    After a 27-12 start, the Tigers have dropped 15 of their last 21 and have allowed the Indians to go from 10.5 games back to just 2 back in three weeks.      I feel like I'm watching the Pacers' collapse all over again, just a different sport and much earlier in the season. Unbelievable.

    I stopped praying a few years ago after losing my dad and three of my grandparents in less than five years (two to cancer, one to cardiac arrest and another to heart medicine that was improperly manufactured). But reading this thread, I'll pray for those that need it. If it's not going to help me, maybe it can help someone else.

      I totally forgot Brandon Knight played for UK until a Pacers/Pistons game last month. They've had so many one and dones it's hard to remember them all.
