    I actually wondered what that buzzer was, because we so rarely force shot clock violations (I missed the game the other night).

    So I saw this line on the twitter feed of ESPN.com's front page and my heart skipped a beat...     From the Celtics: coach Brad Stevens traveled to Indiana     He's visiting a former player from Butler, probably Andrew Smith.

      I look at it as, the fewer possessions that are left in the game, the fewer times we can still turn it over.      Sad, but true.

    The three players who hurt us most against Rutgers are hurting us the most again today.

    We're already in the bonus, which means we'll probably start jacking threes.

      That's kind of making me think it's not really a knee injury. What if it's another failed drug test, and they're keeping it quiet because they're afraid Crean could be canned on the spot? If he's out tomorrow and again Tuesday, but then comes back next weekend...

    I think the argument has gone from "Crean stinks! Fire him!" vs. "No he doesn't! Just be patient and give him time!"    to   "Crean stinks! Fire him!" vs. "Well, yeah, he's not good, but leave the poor man alone! Fans like you don't make things any better!"

      That kind of sequence translated to us is 3 straight deflections and back to back threes off the dribble.

    Crean also said we got better yesterday. He'd make a good politician.

      Kind of goes back to that discussion we had about too many coaches directing traffic at one time.

    I watched the game in a lobby today with other IU fans. Nobody really said anything, good or bad, everyone was just kind of there. It was weird; like we didn't really want to watch it but just sort of felt obligated to.      I'm not sure I've seen a team that was more overdue for a change. Crean has just taken the fun out of everything.

    I'm not sure I've ever seen a team, in any sport, at any level, where the head coach was more of a net negative than Tom Crean. Unbelievable how much he holds this team back.

    Good thing we have Tom Crean to make halftime adjustments and counter their run.      Guarantee if we lose, Crean will blame it on not having Blackmon. He's probably glad Blackmon is out; gives him a built-in excuse.

      What killed them early last season was Hammons and Haas frequently getting in foul trouble. I think they benefitted from Big Ten officials and their "no blood, no foul" method of officiating games.

    Wisconsin was a 6 point underdog in this one. At home.        The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette had a predicted order of finish for the Big Ten today and had the Badgers 12th. It was pretty surreal to see them that far down the list. I think they'll finish higher than that, but it's still pretty crazy how far they've fallen.
