  1. Eagles better not celebrate too hard. The refs could always penalize them for excessive celebration and give the Pats an untimed down.
  2. Everyone in the country knows how this will end.
  3. Really? Setting up for yet another second-half comeback? Haven't we exhausted this angle?
  4. Three things are certain in life: death, taxes, and a very late flag after New England fails to convert a third down.
  5. #410 and #436...I didn't know recruiting rankings even went that low. Crean was so desperate for warm bodies that spring.
  6. To be clear, I think it has less to do with thinking Crean would be winning with these guys and more with thinking IU fans expect too much because "the program isn't elite and hasn't been in forever."
  7. The kind of person who disagrees for the sake of disagreeing and attributes it to being an "unconventional thinker." We all know people like that.
  8. Does anyone else hate this season? Like, legitimately hate where we are right now and what's happened to this point? Purdue having an historically good season while we struggle. OSU, with a first-year coach some of our fans wanted, out-performing us. Illinois, with a first-year coach, sucking, but still beating us anyway. Tom Crean, sitting in a cushy studio chair, regurgitating the same garbage we had to hear for 9 years while viewers eat it up. Speaking of which, has anyone else had the pleasure of hearing Crean supporters mouthing off about how we aren't any better for having dumped his sorry butt? I know a guy who, after every loss, is all like "boy, Archie sure has made a difference, hasn't he? The team is so much better, isn't it?" I hate this season.
  9. He played in the NBA, you know. That's key in helping players get to the NBA because...well, it just is.
  10. This is why Crean needed to be gone in 2015.
  11. Who cares about basketball skills? It's all about deflections, baby.
  12. Kind of expected this after Sunday's game. It's the same thing that happened after the Duke game.
  13. Didn't realize we had a game tonight. Second year in a row apathy has set in before February. Thanks Crean!
  14. It also drives me crazy when people don't know the difference between words that sound alike. "Did I here this right?" was a thread title that comes to mind. I also once had a PM from an angry Illinois fan back when we were "rivals" with Illinois repeatedly saying "Your a stupid inbread!"
  15. I'm just hoping after Haarms moves on they finally run out of 7 footers.
  16. What was worse was all the Purdue fans I saw going nuts on social media after they won the bucket who hadn't said a word about them all football season. I sh*t you not, I had a couple of them tell me the IU game only happens once a year, that's why they watched.
  17. Archie after this loss: "Put it on me." Crean after this loss: "Our kids just didn't execute and didn't make shots." The reason I still have some semblance of hope for the future.
  18. Meanwhile, Purdue set a program record by winning their 17th straight game, and will likely keep that going for awhile. Just another reason to hate this season.
  19. He, McSwain and Green are textbook Crean recruits. Athletes with low basketball IQ who aren't really skilled at anything, but can look good under ideal circumstances.
  20. God, if we have to lose, please don't let it be by 1 point. I'm sick of Purdue winning one-point road games.
  21. If the final score is in the 60's, we'll have a chance. If they get 75+, we lose.
  22. Seriously, it's someone new every game. Meanwhile Purdue has gone like 3 years without any key players missing a game.
  23. If Crean submitted his resumé for the job, my guess is whoever MSU's athletic director is would read his name, giggle, then put it in a paper shredder before he could even get to the part talking about Dwyane Wade.
  24. Part of that is how Jay County plays. They're only giving up 39 a game. Hearing very unofficially that Brown broke his ankle. Hoping it's not true.
