Purdue sure is living off its preseason #1 legacy. Down to #18 in the AP poll but still projected as a 3 seed.

I doubt we beat Northwestern. Collins has our number and we look like a team that's ready for its season to end. Even if we win, it will likely be another grind that makes watching it feel like more of a chore than a pleasure.

The second baseman literally throwing the game at UNC set the tone for the season. Feels like a mistake-prone team that isn't seriously going to contend for anything.

And I know you were joking, but I think they just really suck at guarding the 3 point line. Wisconsin went 18 of 34 from deep. We shot really well in the United Center last time we were there so here's hoping.

I knew when I saw comments from our fans boasting about how they only went .500 against us that we'd end up playing them in March for the first time since 1998. Just how literally everything works out for us. Assuming, of course, we can finally beat 15th-place Northwestern.

I have ties to BSU, so I know a little about their program. If Lewis has connections, they probably aren't good ones. He wasn't much of a recruiter in his time there, and most of his players didn't like him. He fired Ben Botts, a widely respected member of his staff, after last season, and Botts was immediately hired at currently unbeaten Miami. Maybe there's a role for him here, but I'm not sure what it would be.

We would have to be seen as a step up from Michigan for several years before May would make that move. That's why we needed to get him while he was still at FAU.

Kaufman-Renn only got 9 shots and Smith came up just short of double digit assists despite playing the entire game. I can see why they were disappointed.

It was hilarious how they called Smith "a wily veteran" for drawing the foul, as if he had the ability to make the defender brush him on the way down.

CJ Cox has absolutely wrecked Northwestern in the second half, and somehow there's no one within 10 feet of him with under a minute to play.

Purdue fans have been complaining about how their team isn't fun to watch because TKR pouts and Smith wants the assist record and is hunting assists. I love that for them.

We're 39-6 against Minnesota in Assembly Hall and haven't lost to them here since 2012.
