Gonzaga getting screwed beyond belief in the last 3 minutes.

In another group I'm in, I'm currently behind two people who picked Nebraska and Penn to win it all.

So a 20-year old freshman who will one day be a 24-year old fifth-year senior. Right in Painter's wheelhouse.

As weird as it sounds, there were times in the second half of our game with Siena where I thought they looked like the better team. There was a stretch where we didn't look like we could get any offense that wasn't a 3 point shot.

A rising tide is supposed to lift all boats. Unfortunately our basketball program is an anchor.

A few weeks ago, I read that Purdue's quarterback had signed a new contract to remain at Purdue. I was very happy to read that.

Quoting this because I'm surprised it didn't generate more discussion. I'm about the same age as the guy who wrote this and it definitely resonates with me. The way our season ended and where we find ourselves now has me seriously questioning my hobbies next winter. The program is just in a rough spot. We need to win now, but we don't seem to have the infrastructure to do it. If we want a program that's built to last, it will take time, but in today's world, fans don't have time anymore.

Seriously considering not doing one this year. Not the first time, and I'll probably cave and do it Wednesday night like I always do. But with yet another year of missing the tournament, I'm just so fed up with this program I don't think I can get through a bracket without getting frustrated and just saying screw it. I know, no one cares. Just felt like venting.

Seems like the committee puts Purdue and Gonzaga in the same bracket every year.

I turned this off earlier when Cadeau got body-checked and was called for traveling.

Was doing some Kenpom research earlier in preparation for my bracket and decided to look at the top offenses of the past few years. Since 2021, the top 5-10 offenses have seen a huge jump in efficiency rating. So basically, scoring is way up.

Can't see the MAC getting 3 teams. Akron has no Quad 1 or 2 wins.

My one gripe with Moren over the years has been that we always seem to have a lot of dead weight on every roster. Nobody uses every scholarship player of course, but it would be nice if we could go 8-9 deep instead of 6-7 deep with 3 or 4 players who aren't playable.

Purdue got outscored by 11 in the second half and their defensive metrics got even worse after this game. I'll probably get more enjoyment than I should watching somebody's backcourt eviscerate them in the tournament.

I don't think it will be the death sentence some make it out to be, but it won't be easy. It would be nice if this program had anything resembling a positive culture or a foundation. Right now it's a truck-stop program in flyover country.

Everything. Well, except beating the most overhyped Purdue team of all time at home. That was kind of nice.

No complaints here if this is our last game.

I knew we wouldn't win. Chris Collins is a far better coach than anyone on our bench.

We've looked checked out for the past month.

I know it's meaningless. Just kind of strange there'd be that much of a difference.
