Does anyone else get a little nervous watching the highlights because you're afraid it was too good to be true? Like, Sharpe won't actually intercept the pass, or Mendoza will fumble after the initial hit on his run? I'm only able to watch the blocked punt because nobody shows highlights of a punt, so that one obviously went our way.

Let's pretend they not only show up, but actually contribute next season. How much better could we be? Top half of the conference/bubble team? Not going to get people back in Assembly Hall. If we were 4-6 or maybe 3-7 in the conference and the team was fighting hard and growing, I'd support giving her another year. We're 0-10 and going nowhere. I just don't see things getting back to where we want them to be if she sticks around.

I heard a lot of neutral fans say during our football run that they wanted to get behind us, but we seemed like the kind of success story that always ends tragically. Wasn't the case, obviously, but I could easily see that happening to Nebraska. March is unforgiving.

I wondered if that might be him. Ben Humrichous just crashed into him trying to save a loose ball. Humrichous, by the way, graduated high school in 2020.

@Uspshoosier I turned on the Illinois game and looked for the super fan you've mentioned that's always seated in the lower left corner of the screen, but I didn't see him. Has he not been there this year or does he wear a different jersey now?

We can debate expectations all we want, but I think everyone would agree that a P5 coach in her 12th season should never be 0-10 in the conference under any circumstances.

Really curious how long they can keep it up. The MAC is terrible, but they've had some close calls recently.

Michigan State down 11 to Rutgers late first half.

If the program hadn't been in such a downward trajectory the past few seasons, I might agree. We've gone from top 5, to top 15-20, to borderline tournament team, to dumpster fire. Knight had already won a couple national titles, and after that season he still had about a decade of strong teams (along with another banner). He was also in his 40's when that bad season occurred. After yesterday's game, I'm officially ready to start entertaining ideas about our next coach. Moren just seems checked out. My biggest fear is if we try to convince her to stick around, somebody like Glenn Box might head to Purdue once Katie Gearlds gets canned.

I was privileged to witness a pretty amazing meltdown from a Notre Dame fan after the CFP selection show claiming this year's playoffs were illegitimate if we won because we didn't have to go through Notre Dame.
