Man this crap is getting scary. My house is completely boarded and sandbagged. Cops are roaming my street with a megaphone. I appreciate the warning. I'm not at all trying to say everyone is perfect. I'm not at all saying he should be perfect. All I'm saying is Lagow's history suggests that he has multiple turnovers far too often. How many bad throws and bad decisions do you have to see in how many games before you notice a trend? There's a reason people give Lagow hell. I know you always defend him, but it's impossible to miss the trend here.

I'm sorry, but you're the one who appears to have the bias. No, not all turnovers are the quarterback's fault. I golfed with a couple Ohio State fans yesterday. They were under the impression that IU was ranked, and that we beat them just a couple years ago. Man I hated to correct them. No, I don't necessarily think he's connected. I'm just saying that he tells us he is. He was against Victor Oladipo and OG Anunoby because they were out of state and 3 stars. Maybe so, but I haven't lived in Indiana in 13 years. So while I may spend time on this board, most sports conversations come to me from very different fanbases on a daily basis. I understand wanting to keep talent local. But I've never heard other fanbases say that their high school players are better than somewhere else's simply because they're local. It's a faction I don't see most other places. That's all I'm saying.

I always thought Crean offered Gelon because some fans insisted on getting a kid from Indiana. When Gelon signed, those fans cheered an Indiana player that would help us out simply because he's from the state. Turns out he just wasn't very good. But because he had many many people telling him he was a better player than other kids from out of state, his head got big. This is what worries me about Indiana high school players. Some fans are convinced that they must be so much better than kids from other states, that it gets into these kids heads. I don't like that culture and I'm not surprised that this Gelon experiment turned into a mess.

It'll be interesting to see how much money they're willing to pay his replacement. Doesn't K make a billion a year? I'd think they could get White for $4 mil/year. Are they willing to stay paying upwards of $10million for somebody like Stevens?

Yes, we clearly had that PM thread. I wasn't fond of either of you at that point. That's actually around time I started seeing the mood of the mods change for the better here. It went from instigating to moderating. You can blame the team's successes and failures if you like, but it was a big shift. Perhaps my complaining helped move things along lol.
