I agree 100%. It used to be the mods would instigate and/or increase tensions. Now they keep a good handle on things. Of course, we'll see what happens come Colts season lol. This site is great.

Some people might be tired of jabs at Knight. You have no problem with one group, but tried to rally the mods to end the other. That seemed overly sensitive and hypocritical to me. Whatever, I don't care enough. It just seems weird that you'd get so upset at one but not the other.

You got upset that some people said bad things about a former coach. You said awful things about a different one. If you don't understand hypocrisy I don't know what to tell ya.

It's not nit picking. There's a huge difference between wishes and expectations. I wish he'd have a great season and lead us to the CFP. I expect a season with many bad decisions and mistakes. I don't wish it on him by any means.

I have not seen a single person wishing failure on Lagow. Where have you?

Not at all what's going on here. I'm not hoping he fails. Never have I ever said anything close. I'm just not optimistic based upon what I've seen. As far as comparisons to Crean, I'm not bringing them up, I'm just responding to them. And I've said there's no comparison same as you. All I'm saying here is that there's no promise of future success based upon one season. Read it again, you'll see it's true.

Absolutely it does. But that's comparing Miller to the lowest common denominator. That low denominator also had a good year, taking an unhearalded team to the Final Four. That actually > Archie's Elite 8. Yes I'm an Archie skeptic. I don't think one good run = promise for future success. I've heard that before with the Crean hire. I'm hoping for the best but am also not as optimistic as some. Maybe that leads me to dismiss some of the things that get others excited. My expectations based upon results are not high, but I'm hopeful.

I'm sorry, but I'm really tired of hearing that stat used as any proof of future promise.
