I was at my brother in law's house in south Georgia during the game.  The house was full of Georgia and Florida State fans arguing over which game to watch.  The argument kept going back and forth until I grabbed the remote and declared that we would watch the IU game until everybody shut up.     Everybody was slightly amused since they had never met an IU football fan before.  We actually watched for a bit and fit the game into a peaceful three game rotation.   We picked up some extra fans yesterday.....now we just need to work on the wins!

  Disagree.  McGill and UQAM had some "lost players" too.  Heck, I don't think he was the most "lost" Hoosier, but we'll see what the season brings.     There will definitely be a couple players transfer from this team.  It's what we do now.  Whether or not it's Priller...I guess we'll see.  I can't wait for the season to begin

I absolutely remember this game, I've felt as good after this win as any I can remember.  ...and you're right, I thought Cesar was going to win this game for LSU.  When we clamped down on him, it ended the game.  Shaq still had his monster game (I remember it as a triple double...can anybody find the box score for it?) but the Hoosiers won by double figures when nobody else could help him.  I clipped a photo from the Indianapolis News of Shaq crying into a towel, but that pic's been long gone now.  I'd love to find a copy of it.   Anyway....come to IU Anunoby!

      Are you guys too young to remember Clarence Verdin?  He was a 2X ProBowl return man for the Colts who always celebrated his touchdowns with "The Verdance".  Apparently there's no video of The Verdance as a Colt, but I found one during his time in the USFL   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds15aLbmMgI   Or how about "Big Play" Ray Buchanan who was All Pro returner for the Colts in 1994?     Both were GREAT return men.

Alan Henderson is top 5 in career rebounds, blocks & steals, #6 in points scored.   If he's even kind of like Alan Henderson he will go down as one of the best Hoosiers ever.  Maybe not a fair comparison?

  Actually, we went 3-1 against them, the Hoosiers lost the away game the 91-92 season but won the other three.  

I met a girl in Everglades City once, I thought she was the only one.  Is that population above 5?   (great part of Florida though)   As for Morgan, join the Hoosiers!

  True, if you're good enough you'll get playing time anywhere.  However, some want 35 minutes instead of 15.  Not all recruits want the same thing.

Recruits want different things.  Some want to play on great teams, some want playing time.  It's not an excuse, it's an opinion.

Billy never said he was born in Allentown, just that he was "living here in Allentown".  I thought I read once that he had lived there for a stretch, now I don't know what to think.  Oh well.   Ccr annoys me for some reason though.  They made their reputation off being a southern rock band, constantly singing about it.  To find out Fogerty was born and raised in Berkley...I'm disappointed.  Posers.   I've seen Mellencamp a bunch.  He used to play Assembly Hall every couple years, they were great shows.  I live in Florida now and he never makes his way down here.
