AJ Guyton is already one of my most favorite Hoosiers ever....imagine if he got Coach Knight to show up at IU again. Legend status.

Sports Illustrated Ranks Nation's Best Guards
Josh replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
After last season I calculated it at 1.4:1, Espn must have rounded up. Imo Yogi is a great 2 guard, but until he fixes his a:to problem, he's not a good point guard. -
Alan Henderson is top 5 in career rebounds, blocks & steals, #6 in points scored. If he's even kind of like Alan Henderson he will go down as one of the best Hoosiers ever. Maybe not a fair comparison?

Best Pure Shooter/Best Scorer In IU BBall History

I remember watching that game with an Illinois fan. I had to deal with his stuff for weeks. Horrible, horrible memory for me. Poo on you for bringing it back up. -
Coach is drinking out of a glass bottle with that legendary yellow liquid. Is he allergic to every drink on the planet except that yellow liquid?

September 10th; the 14 year anniversary of Bob Knight's...sigh...firing. That date owes me something good.

Disagree. If we don't get him.....PANIC! ANARCHY! DESTROY THE BOARD! Let the mods clean it up. :)

Actually, we went 3-1 against them, the Hoosiers lost the away game the 91-92 season but won the other three.

The new guy at work is the most annoying homer I've ever met...and he's a Michigan fan. So I hope they lose bad. Does that make me a reversible jacket IU fan?

I met a girl in Everglades City once, I thought she was the only one. Is that population above 5? (great part of Florida though) As for Morgan, join the Hoosiers!

Best Pure Shooter/Best Scorer In IU BBall History

Don Schlundt led the Hoosiers to the 1953 NCAA title and set a scoring record of 2,192 points (again...no 3 point line), a record that stood for 32 years and is only topped by Steve Alford and Calbert Cheaney. He was a 3 time All American and NCAA Champion. A true scorer. -

No love for Jimmy Rayl? Rayl attended Indiana University from 1959 to 1963, where he was an All-American his junior and senior seasons. Rayl averaged 20.6 ppg for his career and still holds the Hoosier single-game scoring record of 56 points, which he did twice against Michigan State and Minnesota. He shot 41.6 percent from the floor and 83.5 percent from the line in 68 games as a Hoosier. From Wikipedia. Keep in mind, there was no 3 point line during his career when he was scoring 56 points. -
True, if you're good enough you'll get playing time anywhere. However, some want 35 minutes instead of 15. Not all recruits want the same thing.

When somebody thinks something that Crean is doing is right, it's because they're blinded? Wow....who's truly the blinded one here?
-
Recruits want different things. Some want to play on great teams, some want playing time. It's not an excuse, it's an opinion.

Bob Knight hits cow in Wyoming. Escapes uninjured.
Josh replied to JuwantGrimeShakes?'s topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
When I was in a class for a speeding ticket years ago...a student admitted to hitting a cow. We all laughed at him because cows aren't fast, then we asked if it messed up his car. When he told us he was driving a combine at the time it was instantly quiet before blowing up in laughter. Neither combine nor cow moves more than 2 mph...what the heck? -

Wow. Cows don't jump out in front of cars. How did he not see it? Coach is getting old :( How appropriate is it that he was leaving a fishing trip? Classic Bobby Knight -

Billy never said he was born in Allentown, just that he was "living here in Allentown". I thought I read once that he had lived there for a stretch, now I don't know what to think. Oh well. Ccr annoys me for some reason though. They made their reputation off being a southern rock band, constantly singing about it. To find out Fogerty was born and raised in Berkley...I'm disappointed. Posers. I've seen Mellencamp a bunch. He used to play Assembly Hall every couple years, they were great shows. I live in Florida now and he never makes his way down here.
