No and I get that. Gerry dinardo put it the best way possible and I take what he says usually with a grain of salt. He said IU was a 10 year program given its history. And wilson had us on the rise within year 5. However I think allen came into a good situation and has talent on offensive side and has recruited very well for a first year coach. Kids can see he is genuine and not fake with his enthusiasm. Wilson would say hey you'll have a ton of stats lol. I don't think it will be in 2-3 years and we will be ranked given tom 3-5 and I think fans will be happy but the fans need to rally around this team and show up and support. I heard fans saying where's the old Iu the whole OSU game. Yes I get that we have been brainwashed for that but there also needs to be change within the stands and keeping the cheering going all season or at least during games lol

I get it that we lost last week and didn't have a run game.....and we haven't done historically good against power 5 teams on the road...but why have we put so much doubt into this season after the first game of season against a team that will most likely be in playoff? We are already in fire sell mode with this team? I honestly don't get it? I bring this up due to some comments in the prediction league...yes Virginia played alright against a FCS school but this team went 2-10 last year....William and Mary doesn't have the talent that we have...but apparently they might....idk just a thought...just think it's pretty early to write a team off who played well for 2.5 quarters. I'm not ready to jump ship. Let's go Hoosiers show people what you're made of.

For this weekends game I just want us to try to use the outside run game a little more instead of trying to bully people upfront with a not so strong line yet. We have some speedsters in the back. Gest has a very very explosive first couple of steps, Ellison showed a nice acceleration when he touched the ball and Williams has speed as well. Like I said after OSU we just didn't get anything outside to stretch defense (I get it...we played a tough team, just would have liked to see 2 or 3 tries to get outside). Heck we let redding get outside and he did damage and broke runs and he was a 4.7 forty speed.

Saw on comment section for IU/UVA game. People (UVA fans) are saying that they will blow us up because we allowed 600 yards. And that we will be shut down because of their pass def allowed like 70 yards passing against William and Mary. I'm sorry. But I just can't.

To everyone on here. Westbrook has played ST since a frosh. This isn't the first coach to put starters on special teams. Typically your WRs are used as contain or outside men. Kevin Wilson used latimer, and kofi on kickoff cover. Are we only blowing this up because a player got hurt?.... I trust Tom Allen you put the best players as your contain. They are fast and athletic you don't send out slow LBs. Also Tom Allen has been doing this just like many other coaches since they started. He was ST coordinator in his life as well. He's the head coach and I trust him. Accidents happen and this was a freak accident. Yes it's saddeni but I am not a bit upset with the decision. But to question it now....its a joke people are just trying to find reasons to moan. It's been happening since the beginning of football stars and starters have been on special teams.

I think this class will be a lopsided defensive class. I also think several can switch to offensive side. A couple play both ways in hs. But I think we get 8-10 more so that 23-25 will work unless we lose some guys to draft that we didn't forecast or some transfer. So top end would be 27-28 if we can get that. For this class to be a good success. Tom is looking for his pass rushers and big bodied DNS that are fast and versatile. I think we take 2-4 more DL. I Think we get 1-2 more OL (fit hillers mold). 1QB will do. 1 TE. Maybe 1 more RB(we are very young at this position....and then the rest might be skill or LBs.

Not doing my synopsis because a lot has already been said. However....here's some quick points For people who dogged Lagow lagow is still our QB. He had some throws with great touch and placement. Second half the line didn't help him at all really and he reverted back to dumb decisions here and there. Has to stop that. The first pick the DB somehow got a hand on the ball with his momentum taking him the other way. running.....I just wish we tried to do a stretch or toss with our faster guys....we tried to run it down 7 first round draft picks throats on OSUs line westbrook- he has always been on Special teams, even last year as a starter. He wasn't a projected starter for this game, yes he is a returning 1000 yard receiver but he's played special teams since at IU...nothing new.... defense- hats off for great first half.....last 23 mins....hello bill lynch era lookin a**. Walk the walk boys. Got a lot to change to be a top 25 D. Crowd-great turnout...however just because it's bedtime doesn't mean get quiet. I got so many texts from buddies saying why is it so quiet... First half couldn't hear color commentary... on to UVA... Let's go boys.

Only fueling the fire. Let's shock the world. Nobody is giving this defense respect. I get it. OSU has a ton of 4* and 5* talent. But besides their front 4 which they can impact the game....they lost a majority of their defense. Especially in secondary. Also I don't think Wilton's OC duties will take off immediately. I'm interested to see what they look like because I've heard that they are still using Urbans offense just Kdub is calling the plays. I'm ready for tomorrow. Im ready to get loud and proud to where I don't have my voice for the next week.
