I have heard that he has an amazing work ethic and really studies a lot. He's very athletic. I have family from around the area where Tronti is from and they all concur that he can be the real deal and could be a huge steal for us. My uncle who coached HS football has seen him play many times and says that if he makes reads like he did and hs and ups that just a tad he can do big things. He is non stop film work. Does a good job with progressions.

Got to love a freshman who loves to work his you know what off. Don't see that a lot today

I want Lagow to start. I want him to succeed. If people on here are wishing for failure from a 22-23 year old some of yall need to go get looked at cuz that's not right. I said what I said about Tronti becuase I was hear my things from btown and had watched videos on him and I like what I saw.... For the future of IU. Lagow makes some bad reads, he was lost in a complex complex playbook of the great offensive mind KW. However I've heard that other QBs struggled with it and sudfeld was really an amazing QB with great IQ and playbook understanding (he also had 4 years to learn it. Not 7-8 mths. Now on the interceptions....yes awful throws sometimes and bad reads....but I could counts a lot of dropped passes (increases accuracy numbers and yards, he still threw for over 3,000), WRs tipped a lot of balls which led to INTs. So to put everything on a 22 year old for hiccups during his first full D1 season...its basically like his freshman year in the big ten (big ten east). Just wondering was everyone on here up in arms when Matt LoVecchio couldn't hit a broad side of the barn or no becuase "we didn't have an improved defense like we have now". If Ramsey beats him out then great for him and let's get to it. But if Lagow wins it I hope he proves a lot of you wrong. Just saying there's been a lot of people on a lot of teams that have not performed here at IU and I get it he's the QB....but we had players and QBs throw INTs like Lagow....chappel had and awful junior year......It all has to do with the defense getting better at a rapid pace..... Yes they saved our butts on several occasions. My rant is over.

What does coaching have to do with anything. College and HS are completely different. I played college ball. It's not politics like HS and I did an undergrad of coaching in college....when I was told I can't play football or any contact sports again. So yes if you have coached at a politically charged and motivated school yes tie goes to senior. But rarely are there ties. Typically one stands out. And I don't see Tom Allen as the coach that says oh hey tie breaker goes to senior. Sorry Ramsey next year bud.

I'm not saying he is. I stated that I think he will be our future QB after Lagow is gone. Then it was stated he makes similar throws as Lagow.... Which he does have a strong strong arm like Lagow. And does make some iffy decisions. But I was stating and discussing that he was actually really accurate and I think we got a steal in this kid and I was just saying I think he's in a better position to win the job next year after or if he redshirts this year. This is a discussion and message board we are discussing QBs that are on the roster. Don't see anything wrong with it.

Also did some other research. A lot of news outlets in FL called Tronti very accurate. I don't think it's fair to compare him to Lagow really. Two different players. One can get out of pocket which means deep balls are usually there to be thrown. Also senior football comparisons Tronti to Lagow. Lagow had accuracy and turnover issues in HS it seems as well here is trontis QB ratings are something to look at and Tronti played against plantation HS which was littered with DBs who went D1. Threw 5tds and no INTs Lagow below

My brother said that fitz told him that marcelino is mentoring him a lot. And I thpught daughtery was a senior last year? Was he 5th year elig?

I can respect that. However don't WRs bail QBs out a lot of the time... Hence amazing catches or comebacks to the ball? And yes I watched his tape....I watch really all of our recruits tapes as its a hobby of mine since I'm not coaching or recruiting for a team. but you also don't win Mr. Football in Florida if you don't have talent and I don't think his WRs bailed him out all season to earn that award.
-
I think Tronti is our QB for the future. From what I've heard he's a freak athlete. Work ethic like none other and is just like what everyone has said...... Looks like tebow. Plays like Tebow. Give him a red shirt and let him battle Ramsey next year.

Eh not really. I like the ones we are going after still

No offense but he never truly showed his abilities on the field. I'm not knocking him and saying the coaches were liars but we truly never saw his RB abilities. I wish nothing but the best for him and was hoping for a great year from him. Especially after last chance u

This kid is a monster. Ik we have some good RBs and depth. But I feel this will be a major miss if we can't keep him home.

Yeah. Some writers hinted to it earlier this week and it seems that some of our current commits know it's gonna happen soon. Elijah Rodgers is the main recruiter in this class along with others. But he's hinted on Twitter to watch for more to come. -

They were in foster care for 6 years. Bad foster family it sounds like had one of younger brothers tied up. Def didn't know that about Camions past. If you get a chance check out the show

Watching last chance U. New season came out. We get an insight on Camions family and life. Seems like a tough one. I didn't know that side. His little brother is Isaiah Wright and his other brother is the manager at EMCC. Very strong bond between the brothers. Wish nothing but the best for camion this season.
