    Wait...are we talking about the same John Groce that just got fired from Illinois? If so, I understand it, he is from Muncie and Taylor Univ, but he has been a HC for almost 10 years now...what makes you think that he would be willing to take a step back?

    It is great that he is going to make it a priority, but did he make it a priority while at Dayton? Does he have those established ties to Indiana HS coaches? If not, I would not expect he can come into the state and expect to dominate in-state recruiting. Although i guess that we have to assume that Glass vetted him with the HS coaches, right?

    At least our SOS might go up since we should be able to get Arizona on the schedule.

    So...from what i have read so far on here is that most are ok with his defense, but no so impressed with his offense and recruiting. This means that we will from losing games in the 70s-80s to losing games in the 50s-60s with the same recruits that Crean could pull. Great...can't wait for that.

    The only reason anyone wants to go to Louisville is for the Derby...and no other reason. I've been pushing Billy D on this site since November 2014 and i am not giving up hope.

    Did Crean not want Bluiett or was it the other way around? Either way...it was a huge miss for IU...that kid is a player.

    As long as Billy didn't say "no, i am not interested in the iu head coaching position" then he hasn't said no yet and we still have a shot at him.

    I have got to believe that Glass is waiting to make an announcement because when a school like IU makes an announcement, like the one that we expect is going to happen, it is going to send shock waves across the landscape and Glass does not want to do that right now. Plus, I think the new coach does not want the announcement to be made yet. Glass is not going to pull an Illinois.
