Fair points...and i agree that a change needs to be made...i think that we disagree on how those changes come about. I would never root for my team to lose. I am looking forward to DC and the BTT. I hope the Hoosier faithful show up so i am not so outnumbered.

Generally, this is a professional sports fan mentality. It is easy for a pro sports team to tank a few games at the end of a season to get better draft picks; however, as we know that once college teams lose momentum, it is tough to get it back. Highly ranked recruits are less likely to go to a team that is not consistently challenging for titles than a 1st round draft pick going to a crap team that is going to pay them a few million a year. Plus, since i am going to the BTT, i need the Hoosiers to get up to 11th so they play the later 1st round game.

Just remember that your actions have consequences, real or perceived. Stay classy.

For those going to the game, please remember that the day is a celebration of the kids and their committment to represent the university that we all love. Please leave your opinion of CTC at the door and support the kids. I want CTC gone as bad as anyone else but please remember what it is about.

...And this the year that I choose to go to the BTT??? IU playing on Wednesday (and probably losing if we are honest with ourselves, given IU's trackrecord in the BTT) and Purdue is going to be the #1 seed...and I am going with a Purdue grad...shoot me now...and someone make sure that CTC is standing beside me...FIRE HIM NOW!

Wow...outside of the top 4 and Izzo, there are a lot of over paid coaches (Jay Wright may be under paid, relatively speaking, but he does coach at a small private school).

My take...CTC is just trying to return it as he found it.

Having lived in Philly years back, IU has no shot at getting Jay Wright. He landed his dream job, he is a Philly guy and people from Philly do not leave Philly...just the way that it is. There is a better shot of Santa Claus landing on my house tonight than Jay Wright accepting the IU HC job.
