I don’t know Isaac but recall his only time on the board prior to this week was 3/6/24 when he was early with rumblings of a keep Woody/not BoT discussion, then later that night the “Woody’s back next year” need broke. Can’t verify his stuff but I’ve heard good things from people with longer track records that I trust too.

I credited R. Bozich for Woodson but I believe we’re both right, in a sense; going from memory Rick media source to say like “IU’s close with Woodson” and then Woj had an actual announcement within a few minutes. Anyway I’m feeling great

And if there’s a signed agreement you don’t need to keep it under wraps, both because it would eventually be eligible for FOIA since IU is public, and because you have no reason to hide it. You can just say you’ve agreed in principle to make him coach after Woody and hold the presser after the season.

Probably so — still think someone could tell us an executive session is happening or scheduled, or we could get a little more from a source with different connections, but I do wonder if it’s all happening (TM @JerryYeagley23 that it might come out reasonably quickly.
