I don't really believe in the having to dip into the grey areas to be successful. With the right coach and sound team fundamentals even average to slightly above average players sprinkled with 1 or 2 maybe top 100 guys can be successful. I mean look at Butler's back to back final games. They did that without all the bells and whistles of hamburger boys! I think that CAM is the type of coach that can take a group of guys that are not necessarily Elite mix with some top players and make huge runs with a solid base of defense and offensive efficiency! It takes a total buy in from every player on the team and each player knowing what their role IS. We had a team loaded with potential this year, but the position-less scheme absolutely tore them apart. You have to have a role and you have to believe that the coach is going to put you in the best position to win.

Glad to see Yogi and Troy doing well. Also nice to see Milwaukee signing Gary Payton II to a deal. I know he is not an IU guy but he played for my alma mater Oregon State. Watching him the last couple of years, there were definitely flashes of his old man!

Davis and Morgan is a good base to start with there is a lot of potential between the 2 of them to be an absolute nightmare for other teams in the post. Especially with CAM leading them into becoming a defensive powerhouse Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Though I will support and give Miller a chance, this hire seems like a major let down after that sunshine pumping 2 sided lawyer speech that we got the other day. Miller has potential but that's not exactly what FC said they were looking for! Let's refrain judgement of our new coach and give him some time to show us this was a good decision. Well nothing new to report from my trip to B-Town today, besides students hanging signs of the coach they want, the applicants that I talked to have high hopes of BD to IU, Mother Bear's is still delicious, and traffic sucks on 37.
