With the volume of Billy D. stuff out there, I really hope that it is a sign that there is truly something to follow. Really tired of waiting on IU's true return to blue blood status and a hire like this would really boost IU right back up into contention and back into a spotlight that doesn't focus on the short coming's of an underachieving team! The light of Banner 6 is growing a little brighter with all this talk/rumors IMO and hopes/dreams!

Oh I agree, and the said part is that she is older than me and an alumni from probably the end of the Knight era! But she's just a fan, never played any sports and it is extremely hard to argue with her about basketball. Uses the injury excuse every time and responds like well did you ever play basketball? Uh yes, in fact I did and my dads best friend was the HC of my high school that had a Knight style strategy and mind set, so yes I played, was around basketball my whole life and understand the game leaps and bounds more than you! That response really pi**ed her off, LOL!

Just watched the player interviews after the game with JN and MSB. Reporters had several baited questions for JN, but boy JN looked like someone just killed his new puppy, like John Wick style. I really feel bad for these guys, if they practice as hard as everyone says and want to win. But the questions to JN about turnovers and his response tells me that there really isn't much going on in the world of making the players more aware of how to protect the basketball. JN's response was we just have to get more fundamentally sound! Not the type of response that would indicate that practice is helping or that help is even being provided in that area or maybe they have just checked out like everyone is saying! Not sure, but one thing is for certain, I don't see a chance for improvement until a change is made!

Geez, I thought everyone was at least halfway on the train by now! Just had a convo with another employee, who has checked out for the season already, but when I mentioned creaning Crean her response was comical. Yeah but who are they going to replace him with? me: there is said to be some serious talk with BD, her: oh yeah right, IU can't afford BD get real, why would we want him anyway, Crean's not going anywhere!

Just glanced at 247 and 0708 posted a couple new items after "speaking" with sources. "Yes still saying the same. Donovan is willing to listen. Also Marshal not on the short list." and his short list of potential coaches "Stevens, Donovan, Sean Miller, Archie Miller, and Dane Fife."

I literally got my Agriculture Degree from Oregon State, because I really can not stand Purdouche that much that I went ALL the way across the country to get away from their influence! Go Hoosiers! and Beavers (also struggling this year, I don't even know what to do or who to cheer for, LOL)

Everyone has bad shooting nights! Wrong game to have one of course! The team is really young the core of the team has 1-3 years left in high school. Congrats brandct and to Pekin eastern! The solution is pretty simple. Offer the $6.whatever to Donovan, put more focus on recruiting back to the state and surround area, and use the money saved in the recruiting budget to pay the coach!
