yep, she had a helluva career, even after age 45 when that Private Dancer album took off my 2nd year at IU.

that was a great series. Laughed out loud every single episode. Fold in the cheese. -
she still looks great at 60+ years old.

that's funny, that damn car still only has 59K on it and has had no problems other than routine maintenance; tires, brake pads etc. Almost paid off! That UVA game was fun, when we used to be decent.

I imagine the NCAA may put a cap on it soon. Free agency abounds now.

that's crazy money. $300K down and $5,000 a month following. That would make my family pretty comfortable.

she was a great talent. That Rumors album is one for the ages. I played the hell out of that album during my three summers at Culver in the late 70's.

I am surprised he didnt work out. I watched him play a couple of games at Mizzou and he looked great. I was excited that he was coming to us. What the heck happened? O lIne?

yep, my kids are recent Ole Miss grads and they can't stand State. It's always a chippy game. Mike Leach does some great interviews.

it was tough to get through but necessary for those women to get their story out. He had a lot of issues starting in elementary school. PSU had some great teams during that time but at what cost. The Sandusky quote at the end was hard also.

you must gave been a Sigma Nu or Evans scholar, those dudes always had good teams in the 80's.

Racer X was Speed's brother wasn't he? 70's cartoons like Johnny Quest ruled.

Dude had a pretty bright future for us, but multiple suspensions can spell a death sentence on the field. -
Have fun tonight. My "second" senior year 1987 March Madness was spring break, we were staying at the Lani Kai on Ft Myers Beach. Almost all IU students. We got together at some bowling alley in FT Myers as they had big screens for the Duke game after beating Auburn the Saturday before and we brought in our own coolers and cleaned out the bar's kegs. Had to be 300 of us in that place waving IU flags and screaming as Coach Knight beat Coach K. 35 years ago, wow.

what a great story. My Dad was 2 years younger and was also in Normandy in the Navy and dementia claimed him as well. That was a very hard working generation.- 1 reply

man, that is just crazy. $400 mil profit. Gotta love insurance payouts. And the worst facilities in the ACC. I imagine this will be the common practice from here on out in College athletics with 10 year contracts now.

Where does the money come from? Endowment fund? Miami just got screwed: Paid Manny Diaz buyout. Paid Mario Cristobal buyout. Finally will pay Mario 8 mil year for 10 years

yep, but he pled down to reckless op and got reinstated last week.
