Pretty sure I saw Kurtis in street clothes dapping Mac up right before kickoff, but we’re a bad MRI away from our boy suiting up next week.

Can’t wait to play road games at our vacation home for the NLDS.

Pittsburgh through and through, just like Cig.

I’m not sure if that’s an accurate representation.

Without knowing the terms Tino left on (I have no reason to believe there’s bad blood), I could see some sort of analyst role for him while waiting for the next hiring cycle. Definitely wouldn’t be anything on the field, but you can’t have too many good football minds working behind the scenes.

Hey at least you're getting an education out of it. In the youth sports grift, you get to see Billy's mommy or daddy cuffed and stuffed because blue's strike zone wasn't to their liking. Which...I suppose is its own form of education.

This is such a massive issue right now even outside health/safety concerns. I have yet to see who specialization benefits other than parents' egos and the pockets of people running youth sports programs and facilities. Even college coaches don't want to see it.

I'm not sure how those deals work, but that would definitely explain it. -

Check your order history and the 2025-26 men’s basketball section. My Marquette order didn’t show up in any way until the email went out that requests were fulfilled though. -

I seem to remember tickets at Tennessee last year being absurdly cheap, similar to your prices. It’s ridiculous. -
I’ll get fired up and predict IU by 50 when we’re closer to game time, but for now I’m not too optimistic about this one and it’s entirely because of how Cig and Shanahan have treated tough away games back to their JMU days. Playing conservative and vanilla on offense will not work against Dan Lanning. I hope they break their tendency and come out guns blazing. (Hoosiers by 50, however)

That’s a wild price point for an exhibition. I’ve said it a million times, I have yet to run into a bad seat at Gainbridge and I’ve sat just about everywhere so if you guys did the balcony option you’ll be pleased. -

It’s a clusterfudge. You can get tickets in row 1 of section 229 (a balcony corner) for 62.75. In that same corner section, row 3 through the top row is going for 82.75. These are not re-sale tickets either. Two different things happening at once. And for anyone interested, row 1 balcony seats at Gainbridge are excellent value. -

Only balcony available, starting at $62.75 in the corners. -
It appears that Makai Jackson has left the program.

It is, in fact, the rule and a player safety issue that makes perfect sense. I get why we did what we did, but it’s a really good way to get your QB blasted and/or start a fight. And as far as Ferentz, he put us in a really uncomfortable situation that could’ve easily ended with Fernando losing the ball while running back to take the safety.
-
It was frustrating, but correctly called. You don’t just get to stand there on obvious kneel down situations. You get a backwards step or two and the refs then blow it dead regardless. If you want to kill clock, get in a regular formation and run around like an idiot and chuck it out of bounds I guess.

Part of my “we really weren’t bad today” post from yesterday. Everyone was surprised that Gronowski was hitting all these passes early in the game, but it was clear that making him hit those easy throws within our zone coverage was exactly what we wanted. His high 1st half completion percentage ended up being completely meaningless. Haines would much rather make him hit those than worry about covering 5-8 yard hitches and let them start gashing us on the ground. Once they crossed midfield we had our way with them. Yet another masterclass from Haines and the big fellas.

I kinda hear them though, even if that chant is idiotic. Franklin turtles in these big games every single year. 1-15 vs top-5 teams, 4-21 vs top-10, 15-30 vs top-25. He’s gotta break through at some point. I’m not sure if they could do any better, but it has to be frustrating crapping down your leg in almost every big game.

Ok, heard, but as someone who recently jumped on the Mike’s train…Jersey Mike’s is the truth.

Just the easiest example ever to say “watch the games!” to all the people saying he goes top-10, scouts included. I do not care how he looks throwing routes on air.
