He already busted Bielema. Beating them by 70 would be an excellent double tap.

(2025 Transfer) QB Cal - Fernando Mendoza to Indiana
Hovadipo replied to Lebowski's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
If I'm Fernando I've got no interest in hoping an owner dies/sells/stumbles bassackwards into a good GM and Head Coach hire. -
Appears I kicked the hornet's nest. It was not my intent to diminish anyone's alumni status and I agree that an IU degree is an IU degree.

This holds true a year and 7 days later.

I wouldn't wish going to that dumpster fire on my worst enemy, let alone My King. -
IU vs Marian (Exhibition) 10/17 7:30 B1G+
Hovadipo replied to mamasa's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Got my sub yesterday as well. For anyone looking, HOOPS50 is a promo code to make B1G+ $6.99/month through December instead of $12.99. -
Satellites are included. It's 100% a mickey mouse stat.

I don’t know how they pull the data, but last time I looked into this there actually is a sizable gap from IU/PSU to the 3rd spot. It was something like 100,000 more people. I think Michigan was 3rd.

I think the only reason for Domers to start worrying is if Ohio State opens up. I have zero reason to believe that Penn State is a better job than ND right now and from the outside, it appears that Freeman has completely bought in to everything that comes with being the ND football coach.

That looks a lot like the guy that compared Arch Manning to Tebow.

All these high profile jobs open/coming open has me excited for Urban Szn.

I think if you asked Lane about taking the PSU job over a couple of beers he’d look you dead in the eye and say “too cold.” Not that Oxford is tropical, but idk if he leaves the south.

And always escaping the hot seat. Until, well…

You’d think we’ll get some love from those guys soon. Unfortunately I’ll believe it when I see it.
-
I don’t think the PSU thing, whether it’s real or not, stops that from happening.

I saw it yesterday. Has since been refuted by some PSU people. It’s crazy, and I don’t really believe it how it’s being portrayed, but it does make a little bit of sense. When that deal kicks in, PSU will be one of if not the biggest Adidas CFB asset. There are rumors that Franklin was heavily against leaving Nike. If PSU was out there looking for money to get this done, I can see Adidas stepping up. The “Adidas pushed to get this done” part doesn’t sound too likely though.

Evaluations from this staff are just unbelievable. It’s early, but I haven’t seen a blind spot there yet. They get what they want/need at every single position, the under-recruited guys (see: almost all of them) come in with a chip on their shoulder and kick everyone’s ass. The best part about it is that these aren’t really underdog stories. We’re not beating teams with guys that “shouldn’t be this good”, our staff just evaluates better than everyone. Mario Landino could play on any DL in the country.

I largely agree with your post, but anyone who’s a “Pitt/WVU guy” definitely doesn’t care about rivalries. Those 2 places hate each other beyond comprehension.

There’s a rumor out there from a radio guy that Adidas pushed for the firing and may even be footing the bill. That’d be a new one, if true.
