For any of you looneys that are really desperate to get your hands on tickets…evidently Miami will have a sale for their allotment tomorrow and 2026 season ticket holders get priority in that sale. So, buy Miami season tickets at $420 apiece, try to buy CFP tickets tomorrow at face value, come out $1-2,000 ahead of the secondary market. There’s also a way to buy through an NIL donation to Miami but I can’t find details on that.

The wild thing is it wasn’t Miami fans that started it. Pretty sure it was SEC loonies. And that’s not even counting the guys like Fallica who thought they were cute alluding to it on twitter last night.

The org charts are so jacked up it’s not even funny when it comes to basketball. It’s just a mish mash of money people, AD people, people that think they matter and don’t, The Hysterics™️, etc. It’s the entire reason the program sucks and credit to a lot of people here and other places for saying so for years. Maybe it sounds convenient but after seeing the dept operate up close for a few years I have zero doubt that Dolson was largely kept from owning basketball in the immediate post-Glass years. I do think he owns the DeVries hire and however it plays out, but since I don’t think he has to own the Woody years I suppose the leash is longer in my eyes. And yeah, he gets to claim one of the best hires in the history of college football lol. I don’t think that’s too crazy of an ask. It has completely re-shaped the future of IU Athletics.

I get that this is a bit, but I hope people that are buying it and running with it realize how insanely complicated and expensive these systems are. Teams aren’t just throwing their film on some flash drives and plugging them into a computer in the library.

You’re missing that it isn’t as black and white as your world. You have Fortune 500 experience, I have college athletic department experience. It’s way more complicated than you’re making it out to be. It’s a frustrating, political, inefficient system that leads to things like the last 20+ years of Indiana Basketball.

Because universities, athletic programs, and athletic departments don’t operate in black and white like a Fortune 500 apparently does. You’ve tried to make the parallel before but it doesn’t work.

Good morning. The Indiana Football Hoosiers just s**t stomped what was being touted as the second best team in the country. The Indiana Football Hoosiers are on such a dominant playoff run that there are national CFB analysts alluding to or, in some cases, outright wondering if the Indiana Football Hoosiers are cheating. We are 9 days away from potentially being the most recent school with undefeated national titles in football AND basketball, 50 years since the 1976 undefeated title season. Our Heisman-winning QB is about to be the 1st overall pick in the NFL draft. He has something like 8 teammates that will also be drafted this year. Another loaded transfer class and a whole heap of 4-star freshmen is coming in 2026. Oh, and thus far we haven’t lost a single coach from the current coaching staff. Pretty darn good.

Still trying to figure out the Ponds bubble screen in borderline garbage time. Did we hard launch a 2026 two-way player Heisman campaign tonight?
