    Right. I agree with the “a guy is worth what the market will pay” part. I just don’t think Sorsby is that good. If Sorsby is worth 5, Fernando is worth 20 in hindsight imo.

    I’m sure the money’s not nothing, but it sounds like Leavitt has a really good relationship with Will Stein that’s helping a lot. Not sure what kind of discount that gets you these days lol.

    Re: paying QBs…To be clear I’m all for doing what you gotta do but I’ll tell you what, whoever signs off on giving Sorsby the $5mil he’s reportedly after is playing a dangerous game. That’s an insane number.

    Winning in Lincoln is going to be a TALL task for anyone that has to go out there this year. That arena is rowdy and Hoiberg has a squad.

    Watched the game on the flight home this morning (shoutout Southwest free wifi) and was happy to see Ndukwe holding his own. I also noticed that Haines had Baldwin raising hell off the edge at one point? Great experience for the young guys in positions of need beyond this year.

    That room gets decimated once we’re done playing. Need to start filling it out with guys of all ages. I imagine we bring in a Schott type to add to the current freshmen and then a couple old heads.

    Getting to the point where we’re playing on Freshman recruiting difficulty on the CFB video game. Hand picking the most talented guys that fit the locker room is extremely bad news for the rest of the country.

    They just showed towels on seats already on Gameday. I bet those not lucky enough to get tickets through IU are getting left out of that party. Which tracks.

    To be fair I’ve seen us at the top of more of those lists from OSU fans than the bottom. The ND hate in that list is good stuff though.
