Won’t be shocked at all if we get jumped on Tuesday. I don’t think I’ll be too mad as long as we only lose a spot. I’ll be pretty annoyed if BYU sneaks by KU and leap frogs us though.

Highly doubt they can weasel a 3-loss UGA team in. Committee is making it clear that they’re watching ball and not just looking at SOS numbers. Going to be too many 2-loss SEC teams to make that work. I think a Kansas win over BYU would be as important as anything tonight. We need a 1-bid Big 12.

I think they get knocked off at Kansas (Arrowhead) next week. Kansas has a ridiculous scoring margin this year for a 3-6 team and will be playing for their bowl lives after beating BYU tonight. They could cause some serious CFP chaos the next 2 weeks.

Allen definitely didn't have the support that Cig has, but he also didn't handle the success of 2019 and 2020 well at all, on multiple fronts and that's what cost him the job. I think the commitment was coming from IU for whoever was in charge because it appears that a light bulb finally went off that a successful football program is worth its weight in gold. Not sure how it took so long to figure out, but I'm sure glad they did.

I gave Ben the benefit of the doubt on taking over a tough situation but I don’t think Minny is this bad of a job.

FYI for any other curious STHers. Replies to the thread also said that the CFP sets ticket prices and other schools have had later deadlines than next week, which is odd.

Definitely wasn’t here but Crean was very conscious of what was being said online. Athletic dept. employees have been fired for being active/letting things leak on message boards. They’re 100% patrolled. Mostly by sports information dept. people.

That about covers it. Your first possibility, the doomsday scenario, ends with a bunch of sad, disappointed Hoosiers and an 11 win Citrus Bowl season. With an opportunity to get to 12 against an SEC team whose entire roster has probably opted out. Pretty unbelievable.
