  1. I wonder if Few is mentioned because he wants to put the heat on Gonzaga to increase their NIL or his contract. I think there will be a lot of movement on coaches using IU to possibly increase their own pay. I also remember Cronin saying that the IU job was a dumpster fire, I can't see 4 more years of Woodson changing that outlook for him. Not sure why he is in discussions
  2. That's it, I'm selling his cards....
  3. I bet on the chiefs. You are welcome, eagles fans
  4. Actually that's Linton but I get your point
  5. The part of greene county that is a 20 minute drive to the HYPER
  6. As people have pointed out that stevens isn't a grinder, not something I really believe but whatever..... Nobody is going to say that about dusty may. He eats, sleeps, and breathes basketball. If he fails, it 100% won't be for the lack of trying
  7. I have sources telling me that the announcement is that Mike Woodson likes nickleback....
  8. As I sit 10 pages behind as usual I have figured out why the vague announcement.... It is obvious that scott dolson reads this board, and he had that put out there so he could get caught up with all of these pages too
  9. My meeting is at 3. So it will probably happen then
  10. Wow. This would be whittens call. I would imagine the vetting process is extreme for obvious reasons. I don't think he gets hired, I dont think wade gets hired along with pitino, Sean miller, Bill self etc etc. Obviously IU prides itself on optics. I would have thought that would be obvious since they haven't fired Mike Woodson yet
  11. If it's ufc era Rhonda, that doesn't sound completely unpleasant honestly
  12. The board is really up in arms over a candidate that i don't think, along with wade, that iu even makes it down the list to. I would think beard would be at the end of the list, when they have whiffed on absolutely everybody else.
  13. Should probably get that sacrificial goat on deck....
  14. Could we possibly compromise and tell Woodson that he couldn't go 28-2 at mcneese st and hope he goes there to prove us all wrong? Then we could hire a coach that doesn't completely suck as a coach
  15. I would have to assume IU would be ok paying for either one currently lol
  16. You didn't find Steven's masshole interview to be just even a little suspicious the last go around? If he hadn't talked to IU why would he talk up the IU job, and then pull a complete 180? This is just my opinion, but there has to be at least a little smoke, and I have to think that they have called him, and AD in the state of Indiana may have called him. Why wouldn't they?
  17. It doesn't matter. I don't know about other posters on this board, but I find myself asking would I rather have a coach that is mentioned here as a replacement or Woodson back. The other coach has won every time. It doesn't even matter which coach was mentioned.
  18. The only thing not top ten about the indiana job is the results. Other programs fire their coaches before the 4 years is up
  19. To get dusty may to leave Michigan it is going to take more than 5 million. Up and comers like Calhoun and mccollum may get paid less but that is still close to a top 15 salary. If they are going for the white whales probably in the 7-10 million range. IU may not have top ten results but that is definitely nearing top ten pay. I would have to guess the NIL fund is also top
  20. Yep. So if IU was to pay a coach 10 million a year, unless bill self got a huge raise in between march 24 and now, that would make the IU coach the highest paid in college basketball. Other coaches may get less but that seems like top ten job money
  21. So if you look at highest paid college coaches in 24, unless they have the facts wrong, mike Woodson is #13 highest paid college coach on that list. I don't know what it shows after bonuses etc.
  22. Added bonus: IU has somebody on the bench that can psych out coop!
  23. Absolutely not. Somehow, we have opinions that IU is going to disregard their "optics" to hire people like beard or wade, when this administration won't even disregard their optics to fire Woodson. It's laughable and sad at the same time
  24. I didn't have let's look at will wade as a realistic candidate for the last 15 pages on my fire Woodson bingo card. Would he do well? Probably. Would IU hire him? Nope
  25. It was a bad decision if it was just Woodson and that was definitely the case when he was hired on this board. The part where a lot thought the idea was a lot better is when everybody thought that Woodson was going to be helped by Dane Fife and Thad Matta. It is a shame that didn't stay the case
