It's getting really difficult to defend you in the ghost power rankings when you make comments like this

Those guys don't really have a lot of access right? So they are probably losing subscriptions. Why wouldn't they throw out a bone for the crazy Facebook page that throws out beards name every other posters? And they can say stevens isn't 100 percent out so they can generate clicks on those fans too. All the while having no idea what is actually going on?

True or not, I love the stevens talk because it makes this thread lively on march 1st when it wouldn't really be otherwise. I do have to say byington has probably moved up my list a bunch. Vandy is a fun team to watch and has beaten multiple top 25 teams.

Whitten is the one that will decide the morals of hiring Chris Beard and it obviously won't be any of us. I can't imagine it is signed off on but he is definitely a great coach on the court

The NIL value that iu offers is really the ace in the hole of all of this. It has to be up there with the nation's best. I would have to think there are some big names to at least consider that, along with the extra money a coach would make here every year. Once again it really just matters what IU is willing to pay

Iu has to offer for the comedy value to make Purdue pay him more but that would be one of the more surprising hires in college basketball history lol

I was being generous with the turgeon thing to not sound like a jerk....I don't see any scenario with turgeon and if there is it will be the most ashamed of IU i have ever been With that said: Besides stevens, who i don't know whether it is in or out, the call has to go out to otzelberger, McDermott, few, golden, Bennett just for the hell of it, Donovan for the hell of it, buzz, Shaka, mccasland, and possibly then Beard with zero tolerance provisions, although I don't think iu goes there with beard. Cronin would be in the next group, although personally I would much rather have gates at Missouri then Cronin. Cronins attitude i think would wear thin if there was even a little bit of struggle although I do think he would be solid, but I would also prefer Collins to Cronin as well Edit: i didn't mention mccollum, byington, devries because I don't know how viable they are or if they would even want the job. Out of the three maybe byington since cignetti is already here but maybe mccollum holds out for Iowa and maybe devries doesn't like the midwest. On another note if IU hires TJ, maybe mccollum takes Iowa st

There is still 7 or 8 names that should be at least called before Cronin should even get a mention. There are at least 15 names that should get a call before mark turgeon. Maybe even more names than that.
