The NCAA has egg all over their faces on this one....I expect Izzo to have some more stuff brought to him and he will either resign, or is fired. Emmert is only going to protect Emmert. He has been proven incompetent( as if we didn't already know) and I think if the NCAA doesn't take action, heads will roll at that office too. I slightly disagree for this reason.....if you are only going to be in college for one year, and then well on your way to making millions what difference would 200,000 make at that point? Also, I think image would be tarnished for taking the money, especially if he is as good of a person as it is portrayed. I personally don't think his intentions are taking money, but I wouldn't be astounded by it either. Honestly, the 3 headed superstars are all the rage in the NBA nowadays, maybe those 3 are trying to create a college one year superteam? Otherwise, why else would you go to vandy, other than money? While I really enjoy the info that yogi brings to the discussion, and thanks yogi, you should keep doing it whether you catch flak for it or not, I agree that if something is misrepresented it should get talked about. Essentially we are all doing the same thing here on this discussion. Finding out whether or not IU has a positive chance to snag a recruit. I think it is perfectly healthy to question the info that is out there. Also dbm brings a different perspective to the process which is also important and with the FBI process that is going on makes me tend to lean towards what waynefleek has been saying. If it is truly a business decision, and this recruitment is not shady, then how could romeo not want to go to IU. Miller>Drew and in my opinion that really isnt even a close race. Vandy will have garland, but IU will have a supporting cast that is stronger than vandy. The fan base for IU is better, assembly hall is much better than any Commodore arena,facilities are better, asst coaches are better and I think you would get more national exposure with IU. That said, its just a one year rental....I personally would rather have another phinissee than a Langford at this point. Also, some of you guys are nuts. IU will not be a make or break situation based on this kids choice. Maybe he just doesn't want the extra attention associated with IU.
