  1.   And a PSU player just got called for a flagrant 1 for pushing away an attempted alley-oop in mid air. PSU officially has a wedgie that they can't seem to pick loose.
  2. PSU bench just got called for another technical.
  3. Dickie V is taking every chance he can to talk about how IU fans are rooting for PU in this game. After every play, every comment, every call. WE GET IT DICKIE!
  4.   But feels so right?
  5. Duke is drawing charges all over the place!
  6. Random question... Is there any reason why the cameras are on the other side of the court than most other basketball games? I feel like they're usually on the opposite side of the benches and scorer's table. Or am I just crazy?
  7. Interesting - BTN2Go is showing live streams of pregame stuff at the Hall. They've never done this for a game. The camera guy is terrible, he keeps zooming really close in on people but you can't see them because the lights are down.
  8. I've never heard so much silence from the announcers than in the MD/Wisky game. They're waiting until a shot happens until calling any action, then just explaining who made the shot. It's kind of eerie.
  9. Also, College Gameday announce it's going to the UK/Texas A&M game next weekend. Lame
  10.   The refs had the nerve to call something against UK?!
  11.   What happened?! That's kind of awesome.
  12. Is URI good? Because this game isn't making Dayton look that good. Lots of missed shots and weird turnovers on both ends.
  13.   HAHAHAHAHAHA they're mad about the big heads?! If they think that was the reason that Iowa lost then maybe Iowa isn't as good as the world thinks...
  14.   But he still won't bench Troy in the last 5 minutes of a close game after 3 or 4 bad shots and getting blown by on D. He left him in way too long @ Wisky and PSU.   Subs are better but there are still a few too many questionable calls that could really hurt us in some games.
  15. That makes sense, but does it count towards their regular season record?
  16. Maryland is playing Bowie State tomorrow. How is it ok for the #2 team in the country to play a DII team in the middle of the season? Is it an exhibition or something?
  17. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>     I'm curious to hear how well it works. I always got really bad reception/internet at the Hall.
  18. I'm not a student anymore, I was just shooting out some ideas. But that also makes sense. Either way, some sort of organization in he student section could help make the experience much more engaging for a lot of students.
  19. Watch the band if you're at a game. They do a lot of this sort of thing. When we make a 3 pointer, you have to high five every single person around you. We cheer loudly with the cheerleaders. Unified cheer after every made FT. If you get every single person doing the same thing, it will pretty much always look good. Even if it's singing Jingle Bells to distract FT shooters. I think it's on he Student Athletic Board to get this started. Get them on the students behind the basket and then work on the GA section.
  20. I would like the see the SAB step up their efforts a bit. You look at the student sections at school like MSU and UK and see a unified group that takes pride in themselves as well as the team. Unified cheers, chants, shirts, stuff like that could draw more students to feeling like they're actually part of the game. So far, we have a (in my opinion) extremely lame assembly to in the summer to teach freshman how to do the "fist-blades" thing and chant "first down Hoosiers!" Then they throw some old KOK shirts on the seats some nights and call it a job well done. What if the SAB attempted to create some traditions and unified actions for the student section? Bring back the point system for getting priority tickets, and turned out student section into something more than an apathetic group of spectators! I've been to most home basketball games all home football games from 2011-2014. Besides the cheerleaders and band, none of the students know what's going one when cheers start. I love how MSU students have the "Izzone." They're honored to be in there, why can't we do something similar? Before anyone says "but we shouldn't HAVE to go out of our way to draw students to games!" I agree. But this can't hurt. At the worst, it turns the games into less of a speciation and more of an experience for the students who actually go.
  21. Stanford just faked a fumble and threw it for a touchdown. That was ridiculous!
  22. Third place! There's a chance!
  23. B[attachment=3118:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1451156817.164207.jpg] Band seating. Hopefully nothing happens on the quarter of the field that's blocked!
  24. Obviously not the best route. They wouldn't let me drive though, I'm only a sub.
