I must be in the minority and that is fine. But I do not want anymore slow, plodding post players. Is it good that some of them can shoot? of course. But when it comes down to the way the game is played today, no thank you. Get more athletic, dynamic in the middle (like TJD types) and surround them with shooters who can defend MULTIPLE positions.

you also need a guard that can penetrate the defense to kick it out. None of IU's guards last year could consistently get into the lane. Hopefully XJ and a more developed Lander can change that. but yes, SHOOTING.

No it isn't any different than Brunk or Race or Trayce. Which is why we don't need him. And you are forgetting, we have those guys so WHY would HE come here? He can literally go anywhere.

I don't want this team to take another post player in this era. And with our depth the only player we could take is a project. Wait until next year and get someone proven when we have way more minutes to offer.

Miller Kopp would be perfect. He could space the floor at the 3 or 4. XJ/Lander driving and kicking to Stewart, Kopp, or Hunter.... yes please. I don't think we take another big because it is a logjam there and as you said they won't want to take a backseat.

Tre Mitchell guards the same players that TJD, Race, and Brunk guard. It isn't about his three point ability. It is who he can guard. Baylor and Gonzaga started 1 post player and 4 wings. IU needs to get away from 2 post players, which wouldn't be the case if Tre Mitchell came here. He doesn't fit what we need and we don't fit what he needs.

I would be BEYOND shocked if Tre Mitchell came to Indiana. We have TJD, Race, Brunk, and Duncomb. No way he wants to come and fight all those guys for minutes, and who would blame him.

Yeah they will probably finish top half. It feels like Greg Gard has a terrible year when his teams have high expectations and then has good years when his teams are supposed to stink. Next year they should stink, so I would guess they will outplay their expectations.
