  1. Hey Armaan left and we added two talented guards in less than two weeks. I think he knew we were adding guards. Brunk left last week.... probably knows we are adding some post depth.
  2. lol SIAP but I just saw this. Peyton Willis started his career at Vandy, then transferred to Minnesota for the 19-20 season. After that season he transferred to College of Charleston and played the 20-21 season. Now he has transferred back to Minnesota for his last season. Not sure I have seen a player transfer back to a school like that.
  3. Leal has a skill that translates to any roster or any system (execpt Archie's lol). He can spot up and shoot. He will be fine if he continues to work on that skill.
  4. https://247sports.com/college/missouri/Article/Meyers-Mailbag-Tamar-Bates-Villanova-and-Nate-Oats-Alabama-Marquette-Oklahoma-State-Missouri-164237976/ This article is a few days old from Jerry Meyer. But a quote that stood out to me... "I don’t know if he will end up a five-star in the 2021 247Sports Composite, but I think he will at least end up close."
  5. Armaan knew there was about to be some competition and took his ball and went elsewhere. I won't be convinced otherwise. That's why I have a lot of respect for Trey and Anthony who want to be here and battle knowing their minutes most likely get cut.
  6. Luke Recker?
  7. da hell? this has to go down in the BTB hall of fame for quickest recruit thread start to commitment. I won't complain! Go Hoosiers.
  8. I really like Gunn's potential. I know there are some games where his stats don't pop of the page but he is a long, fluid athlete. He has a really nice shot as well. Glad that this staff will be coaching him and not the last because I feel like he would have been wasted.
  9. A KENTUCKY GRAD??!! jk I have no idea who she is or if she will be good. That is all that stood out to me
  10. I still remember Juwan Morgan kicking his @$$ a few years ago. Also watched him plenty since, will be interesting to see how much he actually plays at Duke because if it is a lot they might be in trouble.
  11. Seth Lundy will return to PSU. https://247sports.com/college/penn-state/Article/Sources-Penn-State-basketballs-Seth-Lundy-exits-NCAA-Transfer-Portal-164219693/
  12. https://247sports.com/college/penn-state/Article/Sources-Penn-State-basketballs-Seth-Lundy-exits-NCAA-Transfer-Portal-164219693/ Penn State gets Seth Lundy back. Rumors are that John Harrar could follow him. Would be pretty big for them, although they already lost wheeler to OSU and Myreon Jones to Florida.
  13. They pretty much return everyone of note, as long as Wiggins comes back. they also got two good transfers that fill needs for their roster. A point guard in Fatts Russell from Rhode Island and a Center in Qudus Wahab from Georgetown. Both project to start and provide instant impact. However, not sure they are top 10 good as most are projecting. Definitely a better team than they were this year though
  14. Start him. Never sit him. And tell him to shoot any time he touches the ball. I kid, kinda
  15. I personally hope they give Geronimo a lot of run at the beginning of the year. If he can continue to develop and become the player we hope he can this team's ceiling rises quickly. He provides a dimension nobody else does on this team.
  16. ah I missed that one. I saw Chaundee Brown and Smith left and they were waiting on Brooks. That is a huge get. I wasn't as high on them because of the lack of experience at guard, but i think that solidifies them as a top 10 team.
  17. Weekly update to Big ten projections according to Bart Torvik's site. 1. Michigan (4) 2. Purdue (7) 3. Maryland (9) 4. MSU (11) 5. Ohio State (20) 6. Indiana (23) 7. Illinois (28) 8. Northwestern (39) 9. Nebraska (55) 10. Wisconsin (59) 11. Iowa (89) 12. Rutgers (98) 13. Minnesota (128) 14. Penn State (129) Wisconsin was a big mover with Davison coming back. Not sure why Michigan jumped ahead of Purdue as neither team had any projected contributors leave (still counts Trevion coming back). Edit: Eli Brooks will return for a 5th year. That is why Michigan jumped
  18. I know IU brought back a lot of the same players and that is kind of a double edged sword since it provides more experience but also is the same players from a 12-15 team. One part that I think is underrated is that at the start of the season last year IU had 10 guys available on the roster. ONLY 6 had ever played college basketball before. 3 of those just one year. This team was so young. Next year will be entirely different as only 1 player out of 11-13 will be a freshman. all other players will have a year under their belt and most will have 2-3. It will be nice to not have to rely on freshman or even sophomores for big production.
  19. yeah people assume XJ would take Rob's spot. But the reality is this team doesn't have anyone on the wing that is proven enough to let that happen. It looks like it will have to be a 3 guard lineup just because of the roster makeup, not necessarily by choice
  20. Brad is back
  21. I don't agree with them all, but I do like the ability for teams to decline free throws at the end of the game. Why should a team be rewarded for fouling? Has never made sense to me.
  22. Honestly I have no hope that it gets fixed. No idea how a coach’s son has a shot that awkward Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
